A friend took me here one rainy evening and what a nice surprise. The decor is clean & cheerful and the waiting staff quick & attentive. The menu was full of traditional Korean foods so selection was fun and frustrating at the same time because you couldn't pick it all ...but we tried! We were served small plates of fresh bean sprouts in a vinaigrette & potatoes in a light miso sauce..all very delish and were offered seconds which we nodded enthusiastically yes too. We ordered some exotic tea with ginger, tofu salad, vegetarian Bibimbab & Agedashi tofu. Our tea was served first, shortly followed by the rest of the meals. Everything was so fresh and full of flavour not to mention colourful and well presented. Sylvia herself noticed that we ordered only Vegetarian dishes and presented us with Vegetarian pan fried Dumplings, so yum!. Along with the amazing food and great smiling customer service, this place is hard to beat and definitely a new favourite of mine which I'm looking forward to...

I recently tried the bibimbap and prawn gyoza from Korean Samurai Restaurant, and both dishes were fantastic! The bibimbap was packed with fresh ingredients, including perfectly seasoned chili pork , crunchy bean sprouts, julienned carrots, zucchini, and sautéed spinach. The fried egg on top, sprinkled with seaweed and sesame seeds, added a great texture and flavor. Mixing everything with the spicy gochujang sauce created a delicious balance of heat and umami.

The prawn gyoza were perfectly sizzled on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a flavorful prawn filling. They paired perfectly with the dipping sauce, which had the right amount of saltiness and tang. And the staff is very friendly and polite.

Overall, a delicious and satisfying meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic and flavorful Korean...

Booked a table 3 days in advance for dinner. We were put on the only sunny spot table and were told we can only have the table for 1.5 hours.

We were sitting in the hot sun and sweating for 40min with no services. I have to approach the restaurant staff for attention.

One of the dishes Karaage chicken was brought to the table, the waitress dropped two pieces on the floor and one piece on the table. She used her FINGER picked the piece from table and put it on our plate and picked two pieces from the floor said sorry then walked away. 🙄

I wish the restaurant sell sunscreen as well so I could worry less about getting UV without protection.

I had to thank the waitress for sharing her germs with me and also not putting the deep fried chicken strips picked from floor to my...

Can't recommend this restaurant enough. We had such a great meal here last night. We had banquet 1 - the food was all absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. Three starters, a main and a small dessert. I had the beef bulgogi for my main which was excellent. It didn't come with rice, but in all honesty I didn't need it and I think it would have taken away some of the flavours. The price was also brilliant at $33/head. Our server was a young lad who was super friendly and enthusiastic. He was amazing. Will definitely return.

Korean Samurai is one of my go to takeaway spots for an affordable and delicious feed. I always get their bulgogi with either pork of beef and both are excellent. When you dine in the bulgogi comes out sizzling hot and the aroma of the dish is incredible. Staff are always so friendly here, and it’s close to the Orpheum so it’s a great food option if you are watching a show there. They also have plenty of gluten free options that have been fine for a coeliac, namely the bibimbap and bulgogi are the gluten free options we’ve tried so far.
