I recently dined at Lalor Thai, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance exuded warmth and authenticity, setting the stage for an exceptional meal.

We started with the Pad Khee Mau, a delightful medley of fresh thick rice noodles stir-fried to perfection with an array of ingredients including fresh chili, basil leaves, bamboo shoots, vegetables, and egg. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's expertise in balancing spices and textures.

Next up was the Thai Fried Rice, a classic dish elevated to new heights. The fragrant rice was expertly cooked with the meat of our choice, assorted vegetables, and egg, served alongside crisp cucumbers and juicy tomatoes. It was a symphony of flavors that left us craving for more.

The Spicy Chicken Dumplings were a revelation. Tender chicken breast mince, seasoned with Sichuan pepper, and enveloped in a spicy sauce, were complemented perfectly by the chef's homemade Tom Yum mayonnaise. Each dumpling was a burst of flavor, leaving our taste buds tingling with delight.

Finally, the Homestyle Green Chicken Curry stole the show. Juicy thigh fillet and Thai eggplant bathed in a rich and aromatic green curry sauce transported us straight to the streets of Thailand. The perfect blend of spices and ingredients made it a dish to remember.

Overall, Lalor Thai exceeded our expectations with its impeccable service, cozy ambiance, and, above all, delectable cuisine. Whether you're a Thai food aficionado or a novice, this restaurant promises a culinary journey you won't soon forget. Highly...

We visited this out of the way place on 11/March/2021 as it was highly rated and was hungry for some decent Thai. Unfortunately there is NO WAY this is a 4star Thai eatery. All 4 Main sized dishes ordered for 2 of us were abject failures, the cook must have lost all sense of taste when preparing them. The Crying Beef was dry and tasteless, alleviated somewhat with the request for additional dipping sauce. I really wish I read and heeded all the prior warnings in reviews about the Chilli Basil dish - what a terrible disappointment of a dish ; with neither Chilli or Basil profiles. Additional chilli and soy sauce was needed just to get through it. The Salad and Soup came a good 5 minutes after the rice and beef dish. And while the male service staff was friendly enough, the female service staff probably felt it was below her to acknowlege customers "Thank Yous" when serving dishes and apparently bringing a 2nd bottle of water was a chore. We even had to ask for small bowls and extra spoon to share the main sized Tom Yum Kung - which in hindsight; both of us wished we didn't - to paraphrase my partner - it was disgusting. (and, yes, we both travel extensively and know what good/decent Thai food is supposed to taste like, partucularly Tom Yums) - this iconic dish was beyond redemption so we left it.

I'll have to put this down to one of the times I've been completely conned by Google reviews/ratings and wasted both $ and...

Wow im surprised at all these 5 stars, probably would have been me aswell, except im not a local or had a booking, regardless was treated with no attention or respect basically ignored the food looked good, we never got ours, but the service is disgusting rude and ignorant only if they know you...u may get attention... for years I've wanted to visit here and finally i do... a busy night yes.. plenty of staff yes.. so why did i get one entre served and other 2 never came over an hour patiently waiting..wow and still couldn't even try to assist or get our food out...im disgusted my whole life is thai and the people and omg so rude never ever are thai people that way... there not true thai...thai are heart n love and even to walk out and nobody care...so here i say looks great on the outside decro, ect but the staff are the fault let it down clearly there is no organisation...ive been in Thailand work in there restaurants spoken to there people... an this was the fall of the charts never ever in my life...the bookings and retirement people get the attention, not a new couple that is there for first time after years...

My brother in law took us here last weekend. The place was clean and there's also parking spaces. We had Thai beef salad which was delicious the dressing and spiciness was spot on. We also had the seafood laksa fried rice and it was okay. We thought it'll taste like laksa but it didnt still taste delicious though more like seafood fried rice. We als ordered skewer squid which was good and the salt and pepper squid. Overall the experience was great and we'll be back to try other dishes. The serving size was big.

BEST THAI I HAVE EVER EATEN! Always come here with my mum for dinner. We are always impressed by their delicious food. Just service is a bit slow on busy nights, but definitely worth the wait! UPDATE: we are always returning customers - my fiancé and I came on a Monday night, restaurant wasn’t too packed and food came out very quickly! We are always amazed with the freshness and tastiness of their food. Today we tried the panang curry! It was the most delicious curry we have ever had !
