Mad Toppings Riverstone — Restaurant in Sydney

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at the Mad Toppings Riverstone branch today. As a regular customer, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and courtesy.

I placed an order for pizza and, upon picking it up, requested peri peri sauce. However, instead of offering it separately, the sauce was smeared directly on the pizza. After driving halfway home, I called the store to request a replacement. While I acknowledge there was some miscommunication on my part, I was appalled by the response I received. The staff member asked me to wait and then abruptly ended the call, without any attempt to call me back.

When I called again, I was bluntly told that a replacement was not possible, as it was “of no use to them.” Disheartened, I returned to the store, only to be met with further unprofessional behavior. The staff member at the counter made a rude comment, saying “woh phir aa gaye yaar” (“they came back again”) to a colleague. After leaving the pizza in the store, I was not offered a refund or any form of compensation, despite having paid $25.84 for the order.

While I was initially dissatisfied with the food, it was the appalling customer service that has left me truly disgusted. The dismissive attitude displayed by your staff, both in their response to my request and in their comments about me, is entirely unacceptable.

If this is the level of service extended to loyal customers, I can only imagine how new customers are treated. In the end, I walked across the road to another restaurant with much more courteous service, where I enjoyed a pizza that was not only better in taste and size, but also came with complimentary garlic bread.

This experience has regrettably caused me to lose trust in your establishment. I will not be returning to Mad Toppings and will be sharing my experience with others. I sincerely hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the issues with your customer...

Horrible customer service. Ordered 3 pizzas, garlic bread and drink for my family ~6.45. Pizzas were delivered around 7.30. The delivery guy was friendly and I'll remember him as he was wary of my barking puppy. He handed me the pizzas and garlic bread but he had no drink on him. When I mentioned there was supposed to be a drink, he checked the receipt to confirm there was a Sprite on it. There was. He said he wasn't handed a drink at the store and he said he would return later and drop the drink on the doorstep and ring the doorbell for me.

At ~7.45 I called the store just to confirm that what the delivery guy said was true and that a replacement drink would be forthcoming.

The staff member was immediately hostile. They said something to the effect of "We can't just run it out again straight away, we have to wait for the next delivery." He indicated that my replacent drink was on the way. I specifically asked "So it's on its way" and was told "yes".

Two hours and thirty minutes later nothing had been delieverd and I reluctantly made another phone call.

This time I spoke to Adam. To his credit, Adam was apologetic but his solution wasn't what I wanted to hear. Unfortunately the final result is that the will be no replacement drink until my next order.

I understand that mistakes can be made, but what I don't appreciate is: The hostile tone spoken to me by the first staff member. Being given the implication and tone that I was being a nuisance by chasing up something I had paid for. I was also told by both the driver and the first staff member that a replacement would be delivered - and then that...

I ordered takeaway from mad toppings riverstone last night, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ordering process was seamless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating over the phone.

When I picked up my order, everything was ready on time, and the packaging was secure and well-presented. Now, onto the pizza—it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the peri peri chicken and manchurian pizzas, and both were hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The crust was just the right balance of crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the toppings were plentiful and tasted incredibly fresh.

The portion sizes were generous, and despite being takeaway, the pizzas stayed hot and maintained their quality until we were ready to eat.

Overall, I couldn't have been happier with my takeaway experience. If you're craving excellent pizza with quick and friendly service, I highly recommend . I'll definitely be ordering from...
