I had dinner here recently and I was so impressed! We ordered: - Baked Figs, Prosciutto, Gorgonzola, Truffle Honey (GF) - Beef Cheeks, Sweet Potato Puree, Seasonal Veg, Jus (GF) - Linguine Marinara - Sticky Date, Butterscotch Sauce, Vanilla Bean Gelato (GF) The baked figs were cooked perfectly, the flavour combo is a classic that works so well! The beef cheek was also cooked perfectly, the beef just fell apart and melted in the mouth. There was a good selection of veg, all cooked just right, and the puree gave a nice sweetness to the dish. The jus was really tasty too. It was a very generous portion 🙌🏼 My friend had the linguine and loved it. There was a good ratio of seafood to pasta and it was all cooked perfectly too! The sticky date was amazing. My friend couldn't tell it was gf. The flavour was really good and the pudding was nice and moist 🤤 I love that they have so many gluten free options on the menu, including gf pasta and gf pizza bases! I also had lunch here recently and ate: -Prawn Risotto - Lamb Salad - Rocket & Pear Salad All of these dishes were really tasty and made for the perfect light lunch! I will definitely be heading back soon 🔥 If you haven't been here before, or like me, you just haven't been for a while, make sure you head there soon and try their delicious food! Wow!! My wife and I are truly impressed! From the moment we were welcomed at the door, we knew we made the correct decision. We had planned to have a “snack” after walking the bridge to bridge, however what transpired was so much more. The atmosphere hints at quality from the uniformly dressed staff, modern decor and open kitchen/bar. The vibe from all staff was warm and hospitable. The aroma from the open kitchen and wood fire pizza oven was a delight! Menus are exactly as we had expected from this type of restaurant, uncluttered with a blend of Nona’s staples to more sophisticated and modern dishes. We. Were. Not. Disappointed! Zucchini flowers were perfect, beef cheek could be eaten without a knife it was so tender, scotch fillet was plated perfectly with an amazingly earthy and rich sauce, pana cotta was light and creamy with perfect consistency and the homemade limoncello on ice left us warm and merry. Thank you Maldini’s By The River, thank you Patrick and thank you team for a delightful accidental 3 course dinner!

Maldinis is a beautifully situated restaurant by the Nepean river located approx 35 mins from Parramatta. We have dined at this establishment in the past and not been disappointed. Today we had lunch and Patrick was very accommodating and gave us personalised attention which is rare to see these days. The restaurant itself is large and can easily cater for over 200 people which would make it perfect for functions of any kind. It is Italian inspired with a focus on the name coming from Paolo Maldini the Italian soccer player from AC Milan. The cuisine is Italian inspired with classic Italian dishes that give you a sense of home cooked meals from nonna. Very heart warming and full of love. I cannot fault the food at all which is all reasonably priced and good portions. I can highly recommend this place for a good meal and ask for Pat say Mitch recommended you. He will look after you. Looking forward to coming here again.

If Italian bread stands for burnt toast then I’d give this place 5 stars. Waited well over 50 minutes for our breakfast to arrive which we weren’t shocked about because we waited 25 minutes for our drink order which was only juice. The restaurant wasn’t busy either, that’s probably what irritates me the most. The mango nectar juice was pretty nice. And the eggs Benedict was okay, not the best I’ve had but not the worst. Part from the slow service and partially burnt meal Im still considering giving this restaurant another try to experience their lunch and dinner menu. Maybe breakfast isn’t Maldini’s strong point. Cute atmosphere/ casual dining/ great location MV

Last night me and the family went to Maldini’s for my pre birthday dinner, it was my first time there and I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. The food was top tier, staff were so welcoming and friendly, and also wanted to say how lovely it is to see the owner of a business being so involved with his customers and accommodating everyone’s needs right down to organising his amazing team to surprise me by bringing out cannoli with a lit candle singing happy Birthday to me. I definitely felt special. Thank you so much to you and your team for a lovely night, I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know!
