I’m putting this service up higher than I would’ve otherwise because the Asian guy who served me was actually nice.
Other than that, they don’t really talk to you and aren’t very friendly. I understand they’re busy cooking, but it’s nice to have some interaction.
The food was okay. I ordered a cheeseburger with no pickles, extra cheese, and honestly, the presentation could be a lot better. You just threw the burger in a box, which is not very appealing.
The flavour was okay, but it wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had. The meat was dry.
The atmosphere was nice, but I don’t think I’ll be back. Especially when you have chubby buns next door, I would be putting out better burgers than what you put out.
Sorry.
Their public response to that review? Sarcastic, defensive, and a great example of how not to respond to feedback:
“Interesting review—so we’re both ‘nice’ and ‘not very friendly’ at the same time? That’s a new one… Next time feel free to suggest how you’d like your customer service scripted.”
You know what’s new? A business mocking a paying customer for giving honest, balanced feedback—especially one who still gave them 3 stars despite an average meal and cold service.
If a customer says the meat was dry or the presentation could be better, maybe take that on board instead of schooling them on what a cheeseburger “is supposed to be.” Not everyone expects their food to look like it was tossed in a box just because it’s takeaway.
At the end of the day, I came in, paid for food, and left a fair review—and got attitude in return. It just confirms I won’t be back. If you want returning customers, treat feedback as an opportunity to grow, not something...
Read moreCrispy fries, delicious burgers and fast service. Marci Lou’s hits all the right spots for a burger truck. There are a lot of burger choices in this area, and I’ve tried many, but Marci Lous is worth coming back for.
Food ordered: 3 X Cheeseburgers, 1 Big Marci, large fries.
Cheeseburgers were simple and delicious. The beef was smashed to perfection with little crispy edges and gooey melted cheese. The bun is also great with a soft but strong texture that isn’t overwhelming.
The Big Marci was a great combo of toppings. The Marci sauce is very good. Might have to get extra in the side next time.
The fries/chips are obviously the perfect side for burgers. They serve theirs extra crispy with a unique and tasty seasoning that was more interesting than plain chicken salt.
Venue: This is a food truck in an industrial type are. There are 4 other food trucks but plenty of parking and actually a lot of seating areas if you do choose to “dine in”. The service was very quick so there wasn’t much eating around anyway.
Another thing to mention is the price - everything is so well priced. Awesome value for the quality.
Definitely recommend getting your next burger here. You may have seen them on social media and it’s worth any...
Read moreLook, I was going to give 4 stars overall, but I’ll give benefit of the doubt and give 5.
Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 1 triple burger, wasn’t sure which one it was as there was no triple on the menu, just seen it on a clip somewhere and the guy said he could make it and got a large chips.
Triple Burger - Amazing, tasted great and it was stacked. The sauce was nice too, it’s their own version of BigMac sauce. Assuming the burger was the big Marci? Highly recommend.
Cheeseburgers - This is where the 4 stars could have come in for the overall rating. The burgers had a lot of ketchup on them, so it took away from an amazing burger. Given the meat is thin, it was extremely overpowering in each bite. Felt like a ketchup sandwhich almost lol.
Chips - Probably top 5 hot chips I’ve ever had. Crispy, light, salted well. Very nice.
Staff were great, no issues with that.
Overall, honestly we loved it besides the critique of the tomato sauce. Definitely will be back but this time I’ll ask for no sauce in the cheeseburger, just meat and cheese. Maybe they just put more than required, but please be mindful of this as it genuinely was overpowering the burger. I’ll see how we go second time and revisit this...
