It's a bit confusing to get to - sharp turn into a car park and you have to be careful when parking because some spots are reserved. Then go up in the elevator.
It's really, really surprisingly good. For a lone restaurant in a random building, I didn't expect it to be so trendy.
Everything looks delicious. The cocktails, food... You just eat with your eyes.
Excellent for a date restaurant because everything is designed to be shared.
It has more fusion flavours - some dishes you might expect Chinese flavours but they put their own spin on it, similar to Indonesian food. Like the san choy bau is more mustardy rather than sweet. I think I would have preferred a sweet Chinese style sauce but it was still delicious.
The teriyaki chicken is really really good. They garnish it with a coleslaw thing and a bit of pickled vegetables - similar to Korean flavours. I could just eat it all day. I will definitely be coming back and ordering it again.
I didn't like the strong salty Vegemite type sauce that came with the steamed Asian greens and tofu. My husband thinks it was the oyster sauce, which I guess I don't like. It wasn't objectively bad - the vegetables were cooked well and there was garlic. My husband liked the sauce and I could eat it but would have preferred more soy sauce or sweet soy sauce and less oyster sauce.
The fried ice cream is SO SO GOOD! I don't usually order dessert, but the photos just looked so good. Then it tasted even better. You could tell they had just made it fresh.
The service is excellent, lots of staff on a busy Saturday night and the food comes out quick.
The tables/chairs are comfortable, but a bit close to the person next to you especially if they get up and come back from the table.
I plan on coming back and trying the cocktails...

ย ย ย Read moreAverage at best - for the price. Then it gets worse. So reluctant to say this because this place has so much potential. The prices are at the top of the range of โgood foodโ sub fine dining. A dollar more on any item and youโre talking fine fine dining. $6 for an oyster? Come on. Salt and pepper squid. ZERO pieces of actual squid tube and mostly tentacles or the tiniest squid that you can imagine. WAY TOO SALTY. Crispy king prawns. Excellent quality seafood. WAY WAY WAYYYY too salty. Grilled oysters. Delicious seasoning. Not too cooked, still taste the freshness of the oyster.$$$ Natural oysters. Fine, nice seasoning however, WHOLE LEAVES of coriander completely mess up the texture of the creamy oyster. The coriander is too fibrous. At this price Iโd expect the juice or essence of coriander to be in the seasoning. Beef cheeks Rendang. Rendang is voted the most popular beef dish in the world isnโt it? This one mad me sad. The reliance on SALT and the fact that beef cheeks are already full of flavour and texture for flavour โฆ lacking any depth from the spices. Very sad. It was almost more like a Massaman curry. Infact a Massaman from my local Thai has more flavour. I will definitely be back to confirm my findings and to take...
