Went in for late lunch/dinner. Carpark was actually decent. The driveway to the larger carpark was a tad narrow so if you’re driving down the main road and you miss it then you’ll need to go back around. The pub itself was very clean and had a nice layout. Was kind of disappointed about the food options.

The online menu had quite a few options but when we went in, the menu was quite limited. Basically only a 250g rump, schnitzel, parma, grilled fish, steak sandwich and a couple of burgers in addition to some sides like garlic sourdough, salt and pepper squid and nachos. (everything else was unavailable).

The garlic sourdough….it was nice bread, however, I’m not quite sure it was sourdough (flavour was good though). The salt and pepper squid was quite soggy with no crunch or texture.

The steaks were a tad overdone but still nice. Wouldnt have noticed how dry it was if there was slightly more sauce (felt like it was 2 spoons worth).

Service was amazing and food came out...

We would like to thank Matt and the staff at the Pymble Hotel for a great stay (22 – 28 June 2023).

I grew up in Sydney (St Ives) and often spent time at the Pymble Hotel (and the Greengate) in my late teens and early 20’s before relocating to Perth in 1985. Mum and Dad and the brothers still live in Sydney and staying at the Pymble Hotel was very convenient to them and also the train line. (Pymble station)

We found the food, service and the room excellent and would not hesitate in staying at the Pymble Hotel again. The bathroom and bedroom was very modern and recently renovated and spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the room was serviced each day.

There are three choices of bar areas, one of which shares the dining area and there are two open fireplaces there and at the this time of the year it was very nice!

Its a fantastic and traditional hotel with modern conveniences.

Thanks again and see...

I’ve passed by Pymble Hotel for years thinking it was just another ordinary pub, but a couple of friends recommended it, so I finally gave it a try — and I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere inside is cozy and not too noisy, and the staff were very friendly. The lunch specials are affordable, with generous portions and good taste. I especially loved the salad dressing — a refreshing lemon tang with a hint of ginger, sweet and tangy, almost addictive. Tip: Don’t forget to sign up for Pub Plus on your first visit to get some perks. Parking is usually plenty, but since locals often stop by for a beer or a quick lunch, it can sometimes be full.

The hotel is unassuming and situated on a busy road, easily missed by many. Finally, it dawned on me one fine day to check it out. And this place is a hidden gem. + steak was cooked to the tee, generous serving and good value for money + busy at lunch time and yet able to find seatings of your choice and yet not too noisy + staffs were friendly and helpful - unfortunately their lunch specials are not available on Fridays nor the weekends if memory serves me well Will return for more.
