Rice Kitchen — Restaurant in Sydney

I just want to say we did order them through menulog and did not eat in store. Now that that's out of the way, I just want to say it was one of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. My friend said he wanted 'white' chinese food, which I was happy to have because food court asian food is a guilty pleasure I enjoy occasionally. Well, unfortunately even with the tampered expectations, it was worst. We ordered black bean chicken, sweet and sour pork, mongolian beef, spring rolls, combination omelette (which I didn't know was a thing) with a large Hainanese rice and a regular rice. Well, other then the combination omelette they all sucked. I didn't have the omelette, but one of my caucasian friends did. Everything was bland and soggy. It wasn't even a take out fried food soggy, the spring roll was literally at the bottom of the bag soggy with random sauces spilled on it. It became a tangled mess with the paper that it was wrapped in. The rice both tasted pretty much the same, likely not using enough stock for the Hainanese rice. I was just glad I had a tub of Haagen-Dazs peanut butter crunch to wash it down with after...and yes it delicious and you should all try it when...

Ordered takeaway, the mixed entree was only a mix of 2 off the menu the other 2 were cheap tasting deep fried frozen veggies triangles that are not even on the entrée menu so don’t expect any prawn cutlets as such lol. The 2nd dish was beef brisket that shows it comes with broccoli but there was none only cheap buck Choi that the hole dish lacked in taste. The special fried rice was ok out of all 3 dishes but a huge fail all up. The food arrived semi warm even after agreeing that they would get there earlier as we were the first order but obviously we were not so that will be the first...

Tried a few places and rice kitchen is the best ,great food ,fast delivery only complaint is that they don’t sell the 1.25 soft drinks like Coke Zero and classic which is the most popular . When buying a big amount of food you don’t want to buy 6 cans of Coke Zero way to expensive . Other than that beautiful food except I did order chicken chow mein last time and got three quarters full of noddles and the smallest amount of chicken and veggies. Really only paid 20 something dollars...
