Riskalah's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend who has eaten there several times since the new owners took over. So on Saturday evening, we decided to drive all the way from Petersham, for what turned out to be an absolutely sensational dinner. I don’t usually go out for Italian (having a wonderful Italian mum who always makes it better) but Rick, Karen and team made us feel as though we were around a vibrant and loving family dinner table, embracing us with food with loads of heart and loads of flavour! I’m a huge lover of stuffed zucchini flowers and they were indulgent and flavourful! We are big seafood lovers and it was all simply divine - the saganaki prawns, crunchy and punchy salt and pepper squid, the linguini prawns omg I could have that for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the melt in your mouth fish of the day - the barramundi was cooked to absolute perfection. The pizzas were light and crunchy with generous amount of toppings! Not only was the food spectacular, but also the ambience, sprinkled with a heartfelt hospitality from Ricky, Karen, family and waiters. Minus 5 stars. Absolutely disgusting service! Ordered meals to be delivered through DoorDash. Uber driver delivered the meals however one meal was missing. Asked the Uber driver and he said this is all the items they gave me. Checked receipt and order and can see we have been charged for missing meal. Called Kitchen 66 and asked them, they said our meal was there, the driver didn’t pick it up. What would you like to do, as there’s not much we can do. Can you drive here and pick it up. We said no, we can’t, hence why we ordered a delivery service. Can you just please refund. The lady went and spoke to another man whom we could hear and the way he spoke about the situation was nothing short of disgusting. “What am I supposed to do about it” “Tell them to drive here and get it themselves” When the lady came back to us we told her her we could hear him and said does he always speak about his customers like that. I think you should get the owner to give me a call. She took our number and apparently “Con” is going to call tomorrow. Won’t be ordering...

An Amazing Night at Kitchen 66 Jannali

Had the best time at Kitchen 66 Jannali tonight! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just right—great atmosphere, super welcoming, and the playlist was absolutely on point.

And the food? Wow. Every course just kept getting better and better. The flavors, the presentation, everything was spot on. You can really tell the chefs put a lot of love into what they do.

The staff were brilliant—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had an awesome experience without being over the top. It’s so nice to go somewhere where you feel genuinely looked after. Phoebe and Lucas were fantastic! I can’t believe it was their second night in service, Amazing!

If you’re after a place with amazing food, great service, and a great playlist, Kitchen 66 Jannali is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!
