Sabih Bros Oriental Sweets — Restaurant in Sydney

I had high hopes for Sabih Bros Oriental Sweets, Unfortunately my visit was far from satisfactory. Even worse was the customer service. The staff acted like they were doing me a favor by serving me. No smile, no welcome, just rushed me through the order. They don’t have a eftpos machine they only accept cash or bank transfer which clearly shows that they are avoiding their tax obligations. They have a paper printed out and stuck on the wall with bsb and acc details instead of transfer, everyone I know that has been there have mentioned to me they never accept eftpos

For a business that’s been around for years, you’d expect better. Sadly, I won’t be returning or recommending this...

If you want to waste your money, visit this shop. We ordered Maa'moul from them again for Eid, but even though they were individually packaged, they tasted so dry and stale that we were embarrassed to display them front of our visitors. I tried to return the entire two kilo's, but the store's owner refused to do so and instead insisted that I grab something else...

I recently visited and was greeted to a rude worker who told me to make my mind up and order on the spot. I ordered a kilo of mamoul and found insect like bugs in the food. Overall poor experience. I have never experienced this before and want to know if this should be reported to co summer affairs for violating health and safety...
