Absolutely appalling customer service. We ordered some food from them, and decided to pick it up because we live right around the corner and their takeaway menu mentioned a 10% discount off pick up orders over $45 (We ordered a special pack for 75). 1) We were refused the discount in a very rude manner, because we « ordered a pack ». When asked why does the menu not mention this exclusion (photo attached), the cashier used a very unnecessary tone and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. 2) the cashier would not look at me once during the entire time I spoke to him and would only respond to a man (is this a cultural thing or a choice not to respond to a woman talking to you?). Finally, why advertise something you are not happy to grant, and offend your customers by forcing them into a ridiculous and humiliating activity of negotiating 7 dollars. Just do not offer a discount in the first place. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

A lovely family-run Chinese restaurant with delicious Cantonese style Chinese food. We are so happy to have found a nice Chinese restaurant in the area. We had the Mongolian Lamb (which we really enjoyed), and the salt & spicy pork ribs (which were also very nice). The location across from the entrance to Warriewood Beach also provides a view to the Pacific Ocean if you are there during the day. There is also parking right outside on the street.

Another outstanding feed at the best Chinese restaurant on the Northern Beaches ⛱️ 👌 😋 You must dine here if you want authentic cuisine, just up the beach from Warriewood Beach. BYO wine allowed Toilet onsite Choose special 'A' or 'B' and you can switch out one dish for approx $75-$80

We went today for a special occasion birthday lunch today. It was a rainy winter's day that was transformed by our lunch at Seastar.. we had 2 adults and 2 kids and the food atmosphere and service was 10 out of 10.. I should have taken pictures to post but I was too busy eating 😊! I can not thank the team at seastar enough I really couldn't pick a favourite dish as all of them were so delicious.. Prices as very reasonable and servings very generous. They also serve Yum Cha at lunch.. so we had part Yum Cha and part al lacarte. Such a great combination when you have little ones with you.. you can have a smaller dish for the little ones and a main for the adults.. we will be back very soon.. as they are open for lunch and dinner.....

Seastar Chinese Restaurant is a true gem! The atmosphere is good, the service is top-notch, and the food is simply outstanding. I was particularly impressed with their Yangchow Fried Rice, which is hands down my favorite. The rice is perfectly cooked, flavorful, and generously packed with a delightful mix of ingredients. Another standout dish is the Salt and Pepper Bean Curd. It's crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. Seastar Chinese Restaurant has definitely won me over with its delicious offerings and warm hospitality. I keep coming back here whenever I visit the Northern Beaches. Highly...
