Authentic Chinese cuisine. It is located on the upper level, facing outside (carpark). Lots of free parking. Easy online booking. However when we arrived staff were flustered and took a while to seat customers despite booking a week in advance. Some staff are friendly and others are quite unfriendly. Service is rushed. Dishes come out slowly. First snake beans, then tofu then pork ribs and crispy chicken. Rice and noodles came out last. Best to eat food as it arrives otherwise your first dishes will go cold. Snake beans were delicious with wonderful aroma and flavour. Salt and Pepper Crispy Bean Curd was a favourite -best eaten fresh and hot. Pork ribs had a tasty saucr but pieces were slightly large. Fried pineapple rice was average but interesting flavour combination. Short soup was delicious with 6 wontons per serve. Crispy chicken was succulent and well prepared. Shreaded duck meat noodles were also very tasty with a good balance of ingredients. Overall servings were very generous. We could have fed 6 adults with our order. I recommend booking as it was quite busy on a Wednesday night. I found the air conditioning really cold but other people were fine. It is fairly expensive with each dish being $20 - $30.

The restaurant recently changed their name and menu (and probably management / ownership) so we tried a quick lunch there recently. We ordered their specialty braised ox-tails with red-wine sauce and stir-fried mix veggies with garlic. Surprisingly and as improvement to its prior offering, both dishes are good, especially the ox-tails with fusion red-wine sauce which is closer to European style with a Chinese twist by adding shallots and garlic into the sauce. Service and ambience are reasonable for casual restaurant in a shopping mall and you can pay by credit card (no AMEX) with 1.2% surcharge. I visited the restaurant again for 2nd time and this time to try their lunchtime dim-sum delicacy choices like their panda custard buns, prawn rolls, BBQ pork and chicken feet. Like our previous order / visit, they're all quite good dishes for a suburban casual restaurant but priced quite premium so not too good of value for money. However, the Chinese tea provided is good quality and the service from floor staff is still good.

Food was quite delicious. Chickens flavours were tastefully balanced between sweet and salty, and a bit of ginger. Lamb was soft and tasted of a strong aroma, a bit salty though. The dipping sauce was unlike other places and tasted better too. The steamed fish was great, could tell it was fresh and it was cooked nicely. Would’ve preferred a bit more flavour in the soy sauce, but good dish nonetheless. Spinach with salted egg was not too special, did not get too much flavour Food was great. Issue was the wait time, got there at 6:30 and waited an hour for our first dish to arrive. The table that arrived around the same time left by the time we got our first dish. The table that arrived after us got a dish before us. Scheduling of food was not fair. For that service takes a hit.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for a long time, having seen it change hands multiple times, but this will be my last time dining here.

We, a family of eight, visited today. We wrote down the names of the dishes on our phones and handed it to the front desk. A man who might be the manager, dressed in a white shirt, completely ignored me and left me standing there for a long time. When he finally approached, he was impatient, telling me they were busy.

Even though I had written down all the names of the dishes, he still missed the Beef with Black Pepper. When we realized this after all the dishes had been served and informed the man in the white shirt, there was no hint of an apology from him. Instead, he impatiently said, "Do you want it or not? If you want it, I'll add it!" He then turned around and walked away, and we had no choice but to follow him to the front desk to have the dish added.

Next, the Beef with Black Pepper that was served was surprisingly sweet and sour! When I politely asked him if he had served the wrong dish, he yelled at me, "Don't argue with me about who is right or wrong, I made you Sweet and Sour Beef, tell me if you want it, eat it or I'll cancel it!" Faced with this attitude, I chose to politely ask him to take the dish away, avoiding any conflict.

After this, we no longer had the appetite to continue eating. I went to the front desk to pay, and their female staff member demanded to see my driver's license for signature verification after I used my credit card. Despite providing my license, she insisted on taking a picture of it, which is illegal! She insisted it was the boss's rule, and I had no choice but to write down my license number, but I did not permit her to take a photo.

This kind of service attitude makes me wonder if there is any animosity between the staff and the owner? There is no reason to treat customers like this otherwise.

The service and attitude of this restaurant deeply disappointed me. I won't be going there again, nor would I recommend it to...
