St Ives Skatepark has been rebuilt and opened to the public on February 21, 2022.

I've been a long time local here and have spent most of my childhood at the old skatepark.

The new park consists of a large snake run type bowl and a street plaza.

Lights and CCTV cameras were added and have been operating since September 2022.

There are also sun shades here, but are mainly for decoration as they don’t cover much of the skatepark.

Please do note that skatepark etiquette is essential here, you don't want to end up ‘snaking’ or getting ‘snaked’ as it can get very busy here and nobody wants to get hurt or injured, ask me how I know.

Please take extra caution and be sure to give each other room and take turns in the bowl if you can as it has a dangerous blind spot.

Take care and enjoy...

Just 18 minutes from Golden Swan Holiday House, St Ives Community Hall offers a fantastic day out for all ages! Enjoy a kids’ playground, skate park, tennis courts, and a soccer field that doubles as a dog park. Right behind it, you’ll find a shopping centre with boutique shops, cozy cafés, and great restaurants—perfect for a relaxing break after some outdoor fun. #Goldenswanholidayhouse #SydneyDayOut #FamilyFun #ExploreSydney
