Skyline Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

Skyline Chinese at Frenchs Forest is our go to restaurant when the urge for Chinese food comes along. My husband & I and our friends have been going for years after being introduced to this little gem by some good friends. I can honestly say it’s the best chinese food I have ever had, and we have visited many chinese restaurants over the years across Australia. The owners Jenny & Tom(who is the best chinese food cook ever!) are lovely and welcoming they always come and greet us warmly as we always eat in rather than takeaway. The Sang Choy Bao entree is amazing, we always have it. The Sizzling Mongolian Lamb is definitely the best you will ever taste and is a favourite of ours Do yourself a favour and pop in and have a great meal at Skyline Chinese Restaurant & say hello to Jenny & Tom. So disappointed! This has been our favourite local chinese for a while now, but the last couple of delivery times have been terrible. Our last order took almost 2 hours to arrive - we called to check status around 1 hour after ordering and were told it was on its way. We called every 15 mins or so after when it still hadn't arrived and were given a different excuse each time - driver needed petrol, driver was new to the job, busy busy night etc... We missed our opportunity to eat a hot meal as our 6-week old baby woke up and the night time terrors began! Our food eventually arrived and was hot, so I highly doubt it left the restaurant an hour earlier like...

I have been going to this suburban Chinese takeaway for many years, always good food, good price, friendly people and good proportions. Last night I ordered my usual chicken and vegetables, a simple and normally cheap dish. However something has changed, they have increased the prices and reduced the portion. $16.90 for small serving not including rice, sufficient for one person only, I can get a whole chicken with trimmings at the chicken shop next door and feed four people.
