I first went to this store 4 years ago when I worked in the centre and even after changing jobs, I still find myself always coming back! I can honestly say I have never been met with more customer service driven individuals!! I am greeted so warmly each time with a big smile that makes my day. I am always bringing friends with me for a coffee because of the great atmosphere the store brings and staff members like Regina and Nova compliment that so well. No matter the time of day, they have always gone above and beyond each time. Those ladies have created such good rapport with me over the years making my store experience so seamless which I have seen being recreated with many other customers! I travel a lot for work and go to many of the franchise stores around the globe and can truthfully say amongst a lot of my friends who join me on my coffee runs that Starbucks eastgardens definitely has an edge over other stores with both their friendly staff and great tasting coffee and toasties!! You can tell heart goes into what they do. Thank you Eastgardens team for always...
Read moreOrdered a cinnamon scroll and we asked for it to be warmed up. The staff’s reason why they can’t warm the cinnamon scroll, cos the icing will melt and customers complains about it cos its too hot and that it will burn their tongue. Seriously? you guys can’t adjust the temp of the microwave or oven. We got there nearly 4pm, not sure if its because they’re going to close soon and they’re just too lazy to clean up the microwave/oven again. Otherwise the rest of the staff were just standing around in the background (3 of them) while one was on register and one was making drinks. None of the other staff were cleaning the table area, instead they were chitchatting behind the pastry case. One customer (before me) got 2 frappucinos instead of just one order. He was quick to comment ‘not complaining for the free drink! these kids (staff) are not even working! They dont even know what they’re serving!’ . Sort your...
Read moreI ordered a large mocha and NY cheesecake. The teller asked my name and I said Penny. I came to the coffee queue and I heard someone call out "Hanny". And I thought, ok that's me because they clearly got my name wrong again and proceeded to take the cup. I then went and sat down to start consuming the cheesecake and coffee and then the teller called my name and told me I have the wrong coffee. I told her what I had assumed and she very agitated told me she did not get my name wrong and that I took "Hanny's" coffee. She was so rude and agitated with me even though I had explained my logic. When I asked the barister where the manager was, she said the manager was not there and then mentioned it to the rude teller who came and told me she's the manager, which I realised was clearly a blatant lie. With such poor service I will certainly not be coming back to Starbucks...
