We have been to Ribs and Burgers a few times and we are protein lovers and are always keen for some meat, so we were super keen to check out the newly launched chicken burger range "Southern Chicken Burger" & "Grilled Chicken B.L.A.T".
The Southern Chicken Burger has a juicy fried chicken breast, and the sauce is approachable and not too spicy. Topped with some cheese and fresh salad on a sesame seed bun and you’ve got yourself a great burger for lunch or dinner.
The Chicken BLAT is a burger constructed with a sesame seed bun stacked with succulent grilled chicken breast, with bacon, lettuce and tomato. A classic burger with plenty of flavour.
We accompanied this with some crispy and flavoursome fries and sweet potato fries served with aioli. They also have a range of sauce on the table to choose from which is great for thise loving variety and their sauce.
We dined at Ribs and burgers Eastgardens, all of the locations with a simalar familiar fitout with a comfortable modern feel and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your feed. The meals made to order making for a consistent and...
Read moreWas a frequent customer during quiet week nights where the arrogance of most staff was tolerable. Even being the only customers within the restaurant it took between 15-20 minutes to get our food. However finally going on a busy Friday night I was absolutely appalled. The quality of service was abysmal as well as the quality of food, the waiting time was 30 minutes just to get a burger and small chips, not to mention the additional 10 minutes I waited as I had to collect my own food despite the order being 'eat in'. Upon questioning an employee (who was far too concerned with his conversation of another colleague regarding non-work related matters), why my food had been sitting there for 10 minutes where I was replied with a shrug which proceeded into a vicious and 'overly pre-cautious' man-handling of my food to ensure its temperature was still satisfiable, for a good 30 seconds.
Unless you enjoy the service of arrogant aspiring hipsters who can't do their incredibly simple job of placing orders, cleaning tables and serving food properly, then I highly recommend you stay clear of this place. Especially during Thursdays of peak hour shopping, as high volumes of costumers will stress out the employees, rendering them useless. Not to mention that despite the restaurant's desperate attempts in achieving the eccentric and cultured stigma that most burger joints in Sydney give off successfully, this overly priced one is under 3 stories of shops, directly next to a potent fish market on one side, and an always...
Read moreThis place is incredibly interesting I so far as the pictures on the walls carry the theme of butchers from bygone days. There’s a wall of mincers exactly like that my mother used to use back in the 60’s to make her own mince meat. The service wasn’t bad though a little lack luster. I’m starting to get used to the scan a QR code order and pay, but then they slug you with a service processing fee, that most people may not even know unless you click email me a receipt and fill in your details. I’m willing to bet most people don’t. The food was tasty but average, my erstwhile friend’s mushroom burger looked a tad flat and dull, unlike its menu picture. My wrap was nice but again I’m not sure how to describe it but just missed presentation. Though to be fair how do you make a wrap look good? The table felt tacky and gave the impression of being dirty so we didn’t want to put our hands on it, but I suspect it’s probably a breakdown of the varnish due to the alcohol cleaners that covid has brought upon us so I’d take a table cloth next time I come. And yes I would go again there’s ribs and sweet potato fries with my name on it that’s waiting to be tried. I love my ginger beer, who knew some other company made it, other than Bundaberg, but that’s not a complaint just a personal choice. I wasn’t fussed on their brand. Let’s see if I can move this to a better experience with...
