If you're looking for a bright spot on a grey day, look no further than this place! This cute cafe in West Pennant Hills is the perfect place to cosy up with a hearty brunch and forget about the weather outside. Despite the rain and gloom over the weekend, the spread we had was bursting with colour and flavour, like sunshine on a plate.

We tried a few different dishes during our visit, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Eggs Benny was a standout, with a unique twist: it's served on a buttery croissant that takes this classic brunch dish to the next level. The Soft Shell Tacos were another winner, with fresh, flavourful ingredients packed into each bite. And if you're in the mood for a classic breakfast, their Big Brekkie has it all.

But it's not just the food that's impressive at Sunny Side - the presentation is also beautiful. The Avo Toast was loaded with all sorts of good stuff, making for a satisfying and Instagram-worthy meal. And even the Chicken Caesar Salad was done perfectly, with crispy leaves and a delicious dressing.

To top it all off, Sunny Side also serves up some seriously tasty fresh juices. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or something more cleansing, they've got you covered.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially families. They have a courtyard with a cubby house and play area, so you can enjoy your meal while the little ones entertain...

Food was great. Hot chocolate terrible. Coffee good. Servers tried really hard but were very young and seemed overwhelmed. Atmosphere was atrocious. We sat outside and for half of our visit had to contend with screaming, crying children throwing toys. We decided to move tables AWAY from the playground area (as much as was possible) and were at least able to talk without fear of a projectile hitting us or landing in our food - as a neighbouring table experienced. We could have written this off as a bad one off experience, however, despite staying for a further 45 minutes, in which time we continued to interact with the staff, I received several missed calls on my phone and 2 messages asking us to return to pay our bill. Again, we could have overlooked this as an obvious misunderstanding given we had switched tables, but the second message left by whom I assume was the manager on the day was unnecessarily rude and snarky. I would say even offensive. Whilst the food was good, the overall experience was pretty stressful and disappointing so I’m not sure that we would return. It certainly was not the relaxing brunch we...

Have been here a couple of times now and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Has a bright sunny indoor space and also an outdoor dining option. They are up a bit of a hill from the main carpark so can be an issue for less mobile customers. Food is great and coffee has been consistently excellent. 4.5 stars because I just think some food items didn't work. For example; pretzel milkshake gives it a gritty texture. On the other hand the truffle parmesan arancini balls were amazing and poke bowl had great ingredients that worked well together. Price is reasonable for the quality. Service is friendly but lacks a little polish particularly when they're busy. These issues will improve with time I'm sure.

Edit: visited again and they have polished the service and the food is still great. 5...

What a great place to enjoy a meal. I have been many times with family and friends and most recently with the family dog. My friends are now taking their friends and families it’s that good. What makes this place so special is the clean , beautiful and bright interior along with a great outdoor area which even has a fenced kiddies play area and as a bonus the outdoor eating area is dog friendly. The food is great and the staff are lovely, so friendly , polite and always serve with a smile. My family dog recently enjoyed his own special meal to make him feel special. This is such a great idea to have a menu for our fur babies, it really did make his day.
