I have been to this sushi train for a few years. It provided except Korean and Japanese style sushi, side dishes were excellent as well. It was one of my favorite sushi restaurant in a mid eastern cuisine dominated suburb.
However, the business seems to be going downhill in the taste and quality of their food since the pandemic (probably due to change in staff or management).
They stopped providing tap water with excuse "not covid safe" in Oct 2022 (rather than during the actual pandemic). Forced customers to either stay thirsty eating salty food or buy drinks (including bottle water) in a sit down restaurant.
Rice of the sushi was very sticky, slimy like a chunk of rice glue. Ramen noodles were actually 2 minute noodles. Fried chicken and especially fish were not crunchy. The taste of some sauces became overly sour or salty.
There is nothing left that I can tolerate any more. I'd give 1 star if it wasn't for the positive past. I'd love to give my 5 star to the original cooks/chiefs before the pandemic and hope...
Read moreAttention Sushi and more owner/s, You need to clean the sushi train. I ate there today and you can clearly see the top and side of the sushi train all stained with sauces and scraps scattered along the side. This is so to avoid the creepy crawlies (hygeine 101). YES, WE SAW ONE HAPPILY CRAWLING AROUND WHILE WE ATE. It was very disgusting. Is this why it is called sushi and more???? Secondly, you need to invest on better chefs and wait staff. The portions are deceivingly smaller but you smother it with so much kewpee mayo. Anyone want some sushi with their mayo???? Yep, we decided to never return. It used to be run really well but since the takeover or new management, it is no longer a nice place to for sushi. So sad! Wait staff....thanks for not bringing my food from the counter. It just sat there despite the cook/chef continued to ring the bell "order up". Sushi lovers, AVOID AT ALL COST! Or, say hello to my little...
Read moreI have always been going to this place at least once a week, even during COVID I use to have take away regularly. After restaurants reopened and on 12/06 to be specific, I went there and ordered some dishes from the menu. The guy (new owner, manger) collected whatever plates were on the train and gave it to me. I informed him that if I make an order from the menu I expect to get a fresh food in one plate as shown in picture( this was taken on 11/03). He said no you have to have whatever on the train, I told him this needs to be hot, he took the plate inside, burned it with the blow torch and gave it back to me like this in the same train plate. The guy was externally unprofessional, he rolled his eyes and spoke in another language to the guy in the kitchen. It was a very an unpleasant experience. Also prices went up. I would...
