Texas Star BBQ is a true gem! My family and I had a far more pleasant experience than we ever anticipated. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warm hospitality of the owners. Their warm hospitality immediately put us at ease and set the stage for a wonderful meal. I have photos and videos to prove it!

The food? Simply outstanding. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the taste was phenomenal. This isn't just smoked barbecue; it's an experience. The owner's evident passion for his craft shines through in every dish. He's clearly dedicated to using the best ingredients and preparing them with skill and care. And his humility is just as impressive as his culinary talent.

Beyond the amazing food, the place itself is a delight. With plenty of outdoor seating available, you can savor your barbecue in a relaxed atmosphere. Convenient parking is also a plus, with numerous spaces both within the complex and on the surrounding streets.

At Texas BBQ, the brainchild of owner Brendan, you’ll find a spot that perfectly captures the essence of genuine Texas-style barbecue. From the moment you step through the doors, the warm atmosphere and the enticing aroma of smoked meats promise a meal that’s both hearty and uplifting.

During our recent visit, we indulged in a trifecta of barbecue excellence: brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs. Each dish stood out in its own right. The brisket was tender, with a smoky crust that dissolved delightfully on the tongue. The pulled pork was moist and rich in flavour, and the pork ribs struck an ideal balance between meaty and succulent, with a sticky, caramelised glaze that was simply irresistible.

It was particularly refreshing to see how the meal brightened the day for my wife, who arrived tired from work and left energised. It’s a testament to the food’s quality and the joy it brings.

Service at Texas BBQ was prompt and cheerful, enhancing our dining experience with a personal touch that made us feel right at home. It’s evident that Brendan invests both passion and expertise into his establishment, and it resonates through every aspect of the dining experience.

SO, SO, SOOOOOO GOOD!

Stopped in here on the way home from a day out, so rightfully so we ordered the largest pack we could! It came with brisket, pork ribs, sausage and lamb shank - all meats were perfectly seasoned, had a rich and full smokey flavour, and so very tender. The serve of each piece of meat is truly worth what you pay. $90 for 2 people in Sydney is unreal in the best of ways.

The bbq sauce provided was just perfect to pour or dip over each meat. Our sides were smoked beans and potato salad - super flavourful. The corn bread and bread slices came in handy to scoop up all the last bits of each side (and the pieces of meat that remained in the box) 😋

The service was awesome too - from the young man at the register with his big smile who carefully explained the menu to us, and the master chef behind the food offering to bring the food over to the car while we waited - thank you both so much for the great food and experience.

Will definitely be back...
