Tonight we ordered Thaidition for dinner from Prestons homeCo, which has left a sour taste in my mouth and I was honestly quite shaken. The order was placed online for pick-up. I paid on line and went into store to collect the food, I gave them my name and the lady GAVE me two bags of food, when I collected my food she confirmed with me how many dishes I had ordered, I said six. I walked back to my car with a few groceries and my food. I didnt check the bags. When I got back into my car I heard a lady yelling, I denounced she was yelling at me, she asked did I order 4 servings of spring rolls, I was honest said no, just one serve, as she approached me with 3 bags of spring rolls. I thought this was the end of it. I started my car and was about to drive off and next minute an employee opened my passenger door, (as the same lady was banging on the back of my car), she reached into my car and wanted to check the bag of food. Turns out THEY had put one too many dishes in my bag, she took the dish out and walked away, mumbling something inaudible. I was so shaken by this experience, I drove around the car park and went back into the store for them to AGAIN check the bag. The lady that opened my car door was quite rude about me wanting to confirm my order. Sorry this was their mistake, and as a woman on twilight having their car door opened and car window being banged on all for a mistake they made not me. Their actions were not called for, we have ordered food from the store many times previously, but this was...
Read moreFood looked amazing when I walked past a couple having their meals. We decided to have dinner there that same night. Wish I had read the reviews first. Service was great and food served fast. That's about as good as it gets. Yes some of the meals were yum, but my standard test is the basil chilli chicken stir fry. Lacking flavour, could barely taste the Thai basil infusion (Thai basil needs to be thrown in the heat just as you are serving it to get the full flavour). We got our satay chicken and I thought it was a joke at first. One of the satay sticks was the size of a soup spoon in regards to the quantity of the meat and that was considered as one of the satay skewers. Their portions of meat are as scarce as Thai Inabox. Quite expensive, but the people who live around that area have more dollars than cents (sense). Overall, not coming back here, I have a great Thai place in Lalor Park called Lalor Thai. How some places get busy...
Read moreReally wanted to like this place as I love Thai food and it's a 2 minute drive from home. I ordered take away for my family and I. I ordered cashew chicken and there were 2 cashews in my container. I had chasew chicken a few weeks earlier at a different place and it was so flavourful! Thaidition lacks flavour (and cashews). My parents didn't even want to finish their food because they also disliked it due to lack of flavour. They commented that the food was very bland. It made me sad. One, because I feed my parents food they couldn't eat and two, because I was really rooting for this place and hoping it'd be my new local Thai place! I unfortunately wont be back here for a while, might try again in a few months. Hope you guys are able to pick up the pace. Best...
