I visited The Cheesecake Factory in Carmel Village and while the desserts were absolutely delicious, there are a few things to be aware of before going. This location is dessert-only, so you won’t find the full dine-in menu here—but the cheesecakes and sweet treats still totally hit the spot! Rich, creamy, and packed with flavour—perfect for a sweet tooth moment. It is pretty expensive though. Even just grabbing a few slices adds up quickly, so it’s more of a treat-yourself kind of stop than a regular go-to. Also, just a heads-up—there’s no dine-in option, and the waiting area is really small, which made it a bit uncomfortable, especially when it got busy. It’s more of a grab-and-go setup, so plan to enjoy your dessert elsewhere. All that said, the desserts are top-notch and worth it for a special treat! Great for birthday cakes 🎂

Went and got a cheese cake from here thinking they might of changed and leant how to cook cakes since it’s a cake shop. This is my second uncooked cheese cake in the middle. I won’t come back again. I suggest people go to different places if they want a cheese cake. Never had this problem before from other franchises around.

Was one of the first customers! It was definitely worth the wait!! The tropical passionfruit cheesecake, was fantastic! Now, the greatest challenge to exercise self control while shopping at Carmel Village
lucky there is a snap fitness at the centre too

I am angry! My FiancĂ© and I ordered a custom cake for our engagement party months in advance and even showed them an inspo pic of exactly what we wanted which they took their own photo of from my phone screen so they had the pic and wrote down every detail we wanted which shows on my receipt, it was a white love heart shaped cake with the word "engaged" and red velvet flavour. My FiancĂ© picks up the cake and it doesn't say "engaged" on it, it was just a plain white heart shaped cake. So he took it back and told them they were supposed to write the word "engaged" on it which they did except it wasn't written in the centre of the cake, it was at the top left which makes no sense as it should be in the middle of the heart and it was written "Engaged!" Which I didn't want the capital E or the exclamation point, we wanted it exactly like the inspo pic as that was very important to us and by the time it got home to us the cake had fallen apart due to it not being refrigerated as it's been going back and forth. My FiancĂ© takes it back a second time and says we can't accept this cake it's ruined and they firstly said they couldn't re-make it and offered cakes in their window which included kids rainbow cakes, we're not having a kids rainbow cake for our engagement party😡 so after they had been told off by my FiancĂ© they eventually said they can make a new one but it won't be ready until the middle of our party which we had family go and pick it up and they said they couldn't make it into a heart shape anymore for no good reason so we had a round cake to celebrate our love🙄 and once the cake was cut and everyone was eating we realised it wasn't even red velvet instead it was cream and jam, so again it wasn't right! If you are looking to get custom cakes from this shop, don't! They can't follow simple instructions for a simple cake. We will not be going back as they ruined an important part of a...

I ordered a custom made cake for pick up. On ordering I stressed several times that the cake needed to feed 16 people and was advised by staff to purchase a large cake, which I did.

Upon collection of the cake on the required date I was given the smaller version of the cake instead of the ordered large version of the cake. Upon query I was told that I had ordered the incorrect size.

My response..... If I ordered the incorrect size why did you charge me $70.00 when you have the small size cake in the display cabinet for $42.00? No answer forthcoming.

The staff suggested that I take the small cake and two quarter pieces from the display cabinet which is absolutely absurd.

After debating with the staff member I had to pick a standard large size cake from the display cabinet to feed the 16 people. Unfortunately not the original custom made cake I had ordered but a very ordinary tasting black forest cake.

Reluctantly, the store credited the difference in price.

I won't be purchasing from this...
