Tucked away inside Narellan Town Centre, Coffee Gossip Café is one of those places that locals know and love — a true hidden gem. Despite its regular crowds and loyal customer base, it’s surprisingly hard to find any official online presence. Searching “Coffee Gossip” often redirects you to The Coffee Club or other unrelated results, which adds to the confusion. But don’t let that fool you — once you find it, it’s easy to see why this café is always buzzing with people.
From the moment you step in, you’ll feel the warm and lively energy. The café is almost always busy, especially during the mornings and lunchtime hours, which says a lot about its popularity. Whether it’s early risers grabbing their morning coffee or mums and friends catching up after school drop-off, there’s always a hum of activity — laughter, conversation, and the sound of coffee machines in full swing.
Coffee Gossip offers a classic Australian café menu — nothing over the top, but everything is well done. Their coffee is consistent and smooth, whether you’re into a strong flat white, a creamy cappuccino, or a simple long black. The baristas clearly know what they’re doing, and they keep the quality high even during peak hours. For food, the menu is crowd-pleasing and comforting — think eggs on toast, big breakfasts, smashed avo, fresh sandwiches, and a selection of cakes and muffins in the display.
Their pancakes, in particular, are a local favourite — fluffy, generous, and always served with a smile. They also offer gluten-free options and are accommodating with customisations, which is a big plus.
The space itself is clean, airy, and surprisingly spacious given how many people flow through. The seating is comfortable, with a mix of booth-style tables and café chairs. Even when it’s packed, the staff manage to keep things moving without rushing you out — something not every busy café can pull off.
What’s truly special about Coffee Gossip, however, is the team. The staff are friendly, efficient, and welcoming — you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Despite the fast pace, they always find time for a warm smile or a quick chat.
The only downside is their limited online footprint. As of now, Coffee Gossip doesn’t seem to have an official website or a clear social media presence. They do show up on Uber Eats, which is helpful for locals who want to order in, but it can be frustrating for new customers trying to find more information or reviews.
In conclusion, Coffee Gossip is one of Narellan’s best-kept café secrets. A little hard to find online, yes — but in real life, it’s right where you need it to be: in the heart of the Town Centre, serving up great coffee, hearty food, and good vibes. Just follow the crowd — they’ll...
Read moreWe come every week at least twice a week spending anywhere between $60-90 each time. Prices have increased but the service hasn't. Today we were overcharged. Then we weren't given my sons hashbrown, which when we enquired, the manager was giggling about it and then said she'll bring it out. We waited. My son waited didn't eat his food waiting for over 20mins. I go to check & get told oh we forgot. And then got told oh we never charged you for it, which when checked they actually overcharged. When I asked for a resolution. The man there says " you ate the food didn't you?" How disgusting is that service. And mind you we hadn't bcuz we were waiting so our food was cold. So I told him to go have a look he hasn't eaten it take it back. Never returning here again - the service was disgusting. And for them to have an attitude when they actually overcharged in the first place. She proceed to tell me oh its OK we didn't charge you for it. Seriously no buddy. You overcharged me, didn't give me the food even after reminding you and gave me the worst service. That's what happened. Learn some respect and...
Read moreFirst , the wait was not great but I understand as it’s a busy morning alike any other Saturday. We ordered the Salmon version of the food and they proceeded to give us the wrong food twice and we ended up completely leaving with half of what we paid for. Second , the guy took my partners finished drink and proceeded to take my half drank glass which was clear and I said “ahh that is not finished.” , and he thought it was funny and laughed about it to every co worker around. Every person who works here just takes the plates whether it is done or not. I had my plate taken with half of my stuff still on it.
I suggest training your staff to actually speak to customers and gain some customer service skills , maybe a smile ? A simple “is this okay to clear?” Or “all finished?” It is so simple, if you cannot say that, to avoid an angry customer, then hospitality isn’t the work environment for you.
I’ve trained 15 year olds who have better people skills then this.
This is disgusting. Genuinely the worst service I’ve ever received. What an actual joke. Do better....
