Mate, We just left thus restaurant an hour and a half ago and I still can't stop thinking about how good the food was. We walked in, table was a bit cramped and then there was the awkward signal to the waiter that we were ready to order. I was a bit iffy. But the waitress was so polite, knew what she was talking about, repeated our order back to us and was so cheery. I was impressed. The kids got mini soft drinks and we got a snickers milkshake thing. Delicious! There were soft pieces of snickers hidden in the cream and surprise snickers in the milkshake itself - not just chocolate sauce and milk. It was not overly sweet by my tastes and not at all sickening. We ordered cheesy bacon garlic bread and just wow. The bread was super light and fluffy - it was soaked in oil/butter with the perfect taste of garlic without being overpowering and not enough cheese to make ya sick but just enough to make you think, "this is cheesy garlic bread"...and there was not enough bacon, except it was the perfect amount. Not overpowering but complimentary. I got the seafood marinara with fettuccine - delicious. So so delicious. We ordered garlic prawn pasta and for such a simple dish it had so much flavour. We ordered the pollo pasta - a creamy pasta but not really heavy but perfect enough to make you feel like you're eating a hearty, pasta meal. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza (large) - the base was light and fluffy, the right amount everything - sauce, ham, cheese, pineapple. We ordered cannoli which I can't comment on because I'm too full to enjoy it right now. We ordered a black forest cake and it may be a little sweet for some people but soaked in jam, covered in plain cream with what might have been closer to dark chocolate on the outside? So where you would think it may be too sweet - the chocolate balanced it perfectly (for us, with sweet tooths). It's worthwhile noting, we dined in (when pasta was 50% off Mon-Wed) - the food was fresh, it came out very, very quickly. The staff were kind, patient, and quick to smile. Was a welcoming and comforting environment to celebrate our anniversary. In terms of $$$, it would be on the sort of expensive side for us but the quality and experience would bring me back. I'm stuffed, but still can't stop thinking about it. Thought I'd write a review instead lol. Will definitely be bringing my foodie people here to see what their thoughts are! Keep up the great work Team! Amazing, amazing stuff!!!

Food and staff are always amazing (I have dined here multiple times and am never disappointed) - special shoutout to Melissa who was very attentive, kind and patient (I met up with some friends and kept blabbering and forgetting to look at the menu to order so thank you for being so patient) The food always hits regardless of what I get, pasta is always cooked perfectly, not too soft that it’s breaking apart and not to hard that’s it’s undercooked - it’s alway cooked well and is soaked in the flavoursome variety of sauces you have. Portions sizes are awesome (I come from a Polynesian/Islander home) so having a meal that can fill me up without me having to order more is always a plus. There is a variety of options here so you’re guaranteed to be satisfied, it’s a great place for lunch or dinner, they have desserts, coffee and tea, a bar, pizza, pasta, chicken, lamb, risotto, the lot! Make your way down here, atmosphere is always pumping (shows how good it is) and also super friendly and easy going. A great place to eat, laugh and catch-up with friends or family over some great food with great service.

We took the family out for pizza and pasta, phoned ahead for a table of 6 with only 20min notice & they were able to accommodate us outdoor dining - inside was full when we got there with a line for takeaway pick up. Open Kitchen was pumping & all staff were very busy - greeted us with smiles, sat us down quickly with menus and pencils for my son to color in. Outdoor space was lovely with plants, lights and music we enjoyed this space and were glad not to be inside. Kids enjoyed mock tails. We ordered garlic and cheese pizza to start, yum - kids wanted to order another serving glad we didn’t! We ordered a dish each - 2 pizzas (Mad Hatter & Capricosa) 2 pastas (Carbonara & Basil Pesto with Chicken and Bacon) pork rib meal and a kids chicken & chips. Portions were huge - lots left over, not complaining enjoyed the next day. Pizza base enjoyed by all with good amount of toppings. Pastas very rich & creamy, flavor was there. Ribs melted off the bone. Huge menu with lots of options will be back to try other items, great spot located small set of shops with ample free parking.

Mate,

We just left thus restaurant an hour and a half ago and I still can't stop thinking about how good the food was.

I've been ordering lunch every month for my company and every time well over $1000 worth food I order for my staff from this place. I honestly wanted to help out these businesses. But as I understand, these people have no gratitude, no consideration, nothing for their clients. For the second time, these guys let me down big time. My major concern was, even after spending this much of moneys over many months, they had no courtesy to rectify the issue nor at least say sorry for what they did. Owner himself showed the poor quality and business ethics. Reception repeatedly lied saying food was on the way. Driver repeatedly lied saying he's on the way. And My staff was waiting for more than a 30 minutes until food arrive. This is even after, letting them know about the order in the morning, paying them in full. Once food arrived, its under delivered. So some people did not get to have their food as there wasn't adequate amounts. We called the owner himself, he was in big denial. Then we showed his driver, what he delivered. Seemingly this business owner then reluctantly admitted. It really was a poor show. When customer order over 1200 dollars, would you under deliver ? How bad is that ?? What a low act is that ? Do you do it to a regular customer who gives you business every month ? I highly advice, do not get food delivered. If you gonna get food delivered, you better check what the driver delivered. And funny enough, the driver also has a big mouth, and has the audacity to speak in a threatening way to the customer. I believe he's representing this business too. I then had to tell him, to get out of my site, before I get him dragged out. I'm very disappointed the way these guys conduct their business. After giving them this much consideration, business, they still treat customers the way they...

Edit 10/012025: 101/10 stars for the service and management. The food is fantastic, plenty of options, the best Italian place in the area.

There was a once off bad experience (which is still listed below). I might have overreacted because I'm protective of my partner - sometimes service staff don't know much about people with disabilities.

But definitely give them a try, they're an asset to the community and the culinary world in general.

Old review: PPK is a bit weird for me; we've been here a lot over the last year because the food and atmosphere is great but we had a single bad experience with a staff member.

It was getting towards closing time and it was cold - we moved our plates inside because it was freezing outside, but I was challenged by a server as to what we were doing. It should have been obvious that we were getting into a warmer area, but I felt like I was being interrogated like a child. I didn't remember our table number when asked for it and I finally decided we would pack away our food and go home to finish it off. We obviously paid our bill, but no one likes to be grilled by a stranger when you're trying to enjoy the food and conversation.

Otherwise from that one guy, the staff are friendly and accommodating, but one black spot doesn't come off easily, especially because my partner has a disability. Forcing her to climb stairs up and down just to make it easier for a lazy waiter isn't very cool.

Maybe he was having a bad day. But no one likes to be treated like a suspect when all you're trying to do is...
