No thank you. This is my third visit to the restaurant and each time something is not right. For starters the waitress who brought our food was so aggressive, maybe a bad shift but Jesus smile at least? Tonight I had the rump steak, the actual steak it self was not cooked medium it was well done. It also has a really strange smell, maybe the grill needs cleaning? I’m not sure. The veggies were nice, an the mash was good too. My mum had the lamb cutlets, said mash and veg was nice but the cutlets had no seasoning or flavour (she added pepper and salt to taste). Overall not bad but not great… what really spoiled the evening was the dessert!! Goodness me. Ordered 4 fried ice cream, please do yourself a favour and take this off the menu!! The fried ice cream came almost ripped apart in a glass bowl, with your choice of chocolate caramel or strawberry sauce on the side. I had the chocolate sauce this was just standard ice cream topping, but the ice cream?!?!?! Oh goodness the poor ice cream. The outside was a wet bread texture, it smelt like old oil. The inside when eating tasted like cheap vanilla ice cream(had a lot of ice chips in it which indicates cheap or old ice cream) but to top it off had you can visibly see spoonfuls of oil. Now I thought it was just mine, looked over to the other 3 and 2 of them were the same. It was actually horrible, I wish we took photos of the disaster dessert. The waitress who cleared our table saw most of our dessert was left an didn’t even ask how it was? She just cleared the table. Very strange. Been in hospitality industry over 30 years As a waiter ,bar tender,chef , manager with exceptional standards. The list i expect is 10 minutes Gap after my starters arrived . When I complaint they took the mains under a lamp to keep it warm and then they would serve it to me later. Guys so you know when food is served should be 90 degree's other wise its full of bacteria. Once I said serve my wife now and I need a new dish she the nanager at the time wanted to kill me with the way she looked at me. IM SHOCKED THAT I SIRVED HOSPITALITY ALL MY LIFE AND I SEE THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT ....I SAID I DONT WANT MY MAIN THEY STILL SERVED IT MANAGER TRYING TO BE THE STRONG AND SMART ONE AT THE INCIDENT SUNDAY THE 13 OF JULY SHE NEEDS A BREAK OR UPGRATE HER KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO DEAL WITH CLIENT S THAT THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT HIW THINGS SHOULD BE ETC. Read moreWas waiting with my partner for 40 mins for our meal, when we started to notice that people who ordered after us had already received their meal. I wanted to check if they missed our order so I asked how long we had to wait. They said it would take 5 mins. 10 mins pass. I ask again, and get told it would take another 10 mins. I think they started cooking it only after mentioning our order the first time.
We did not want to wait anymore. I asked the lady at the cashier for refund, which she gave us. I mentioned that 50 mins is a bit of a long wait for food (that still hadn’t come). Lady at the cashier said they had an event on and I had ordered after them which is why it takes this long. If this was the case, it would’ve been nice to know this when I had originally ordered. And like I said, I noticed other individuals getting their food before us.
In addition, every staff I tried to talk to, said they would get back to me and did not. I had to go to the counter to follow up.
