EDITED REVIEW POST REPLY FROM BUSINESS.
Seriously save yourself the trouble because my word this is expensive. After being approved for my loan my family and i gave this place a go. Influencers rated it apparently..... Sampled wings, tenders, burgers, biscuits, mozzarella sticks, cheesy jalapeno bites, and chips. A family of 6 and there is an abundance of food left over. The powdery residue influencing the flavour and texture of the tenders is still lingering, and sitting gurgling away in my stomach. The flavoulress soggy burger with last weeks salad on it had about two bites taken from it before it was yeeted in the bin. The mac and cheese was clearly the gourmet version of home brand because the 3 tablespoon serving size was gritty and bland. The slaw no doubt bought from woolies was underwhelming and flavourless. The chips were hot. One win.
Needless to say, once my stomach settles and I'm confident to not be near a bathroom, i will be taking my patronage elsewhere, and continuing to not trust social media influencers
EDIT FOR OWNERS.
Wing shack,
Seeing as though you don’t have the courage to identify yourself by name for me to address you more accurately, and personably, you will have to accept a generalisation.
I too don’t typically venture into a rebuttal from a butt-hurt business pending my review, validating their lack of ability to take on feedback. However, seeing as though you made such an effort to not only peruse my review with such deniability you childishly ventured into my past reviews. A habit I see is frequent for anyone who leaves reviews that are not to your liking. If you broadened your focus on the reviews that I have left, you would have noted, easily, that I maintain quite a consistency between them. If something is good, it gets reviewed and rated accordingly. Yet if we are dealt with bad customer service, food, or product, then it is equally and accurately reviewed. The joys of being able to share my unbiased thoughts as a patron, paying for a product, and I won’t be bullied into going about my business any other way.
And since you made such an effort to divulge into your thesaurus to make such ludicrous presumptions about my intent behind my review, rest assured there is no bias, there is no hidden agenda, It was a simple case that in my opinion and the opinion of my family, your food is sub-par. It’s literally that simple.
Having read the reviews from the clearly bias locals that you refer to frequently in your distraught review responses that apparently flock in their hundreds to your car park with no more than 15 spaces in it there seems to be a consistent theme in those that have left less than glowing reviews for you apparent thriving business.
The lack of accountability is comical, where you seem to unfailingly dive into people’s personal profiles, digging up accusations such as competing businesses, and juvenile responses such as “we look forward to not seeing you again” – certainly a professional way to address feedback as a business.
Perhaps consider that your business is just not that good, and people who choose to share that opinion are going to do so in a way that suits them. Generally speaking, if people have had a bad experience, specifically pertaining to a consumable such as food, it ironically leaves a bad taste in their mouths, where opinions like mine, are going to be honest, and to the point. And I also would presume that people, like myself, just don’t care for your trivial excuses.
In closing, as you suggested to one of your other 1-star reviewers, perhaps consider leaving a 2 or 3-star review for businesses whose food you dislike and reserve a 1-star for businesses that are truly terrible in every way.
My 1 star, and initial review of your business and your product stands....

I won't be deleting anything because I stand by my experience, and they can keep my money Says a lot about the people that run this place.
Comfortably one of the worst meals both me and my boyfriend have ever had. Currently waiting for our food at a different place after leaving Wing Shack. First of all, the wait was long, and the food is overpriced. However the quality of the food was unacceptable. After our wait - the chips were cold, soggy and brown. The chicken burger fillet was ok but tasted off because it tasted like the oil hasn't been changed for a while - it almost tasted fishy to me which I personally didn't enjoy at all. The bread on the burger was incredibly dense and crumbly (had no structural integrity and fell apart) and was weirdly sweet. The bread with the tenders is pretty much just a slice of white bread from Coles, and ok the tenders were cooked ok, couldn't get over the odd flavour from the oil and the Nashville basting was off - and I say this eating Nashville tenders A LOT. Saving the absolute worst for last - the chicken wings. Absolutely made me sick to my stomach. The quality was shocking - every wing was covered in unbelievable amounts of fat, sinew and uncooked batter. It was not edible. It was the worst chicken I have ever eaten. It was also cooked unevenly and was worried about food safety because in some areas it looked potentially uncooked - HARD TO TELL AMONG ALL THE FAT! I ended up throwing out almost $100 of food which is so disappointing and wasteful. To add insult to injury, my partner also feels super unwell after eating that burger after I insisted he not so can safely say I won't be back. How this place has the ratings it has is an absolute mystery to me - are they fake? Was this place once good? I don't know. If you're considering it - I couldn't tell you to reconsider this place...
Read moreThis review was honestly a long time coming. As a fan of hot chicken, and the closure of a previous local storefront going years back at this point, I found Wing Shack soon after, and quickly became a convert. Wing Shack had quickly become the standard of quality I look for when it comes to other establishments chicken. On my first visit, I didn’t know what to make of Wing Shack. I found the prices to be a bit steeper, so I found myself only going for special occasions. Now? I’m there almost on a weekly basis getting my hit of Nashville hot chicken. What can I honestly say about this place? It’s well worth the time and money - you’re honestly getting your bang for your buck, with much higher quality all round than most chicken shops. The Shack is run by people who know what they’re doing, and obviously care for the quality of food sourced, and the presentation - which is always consistent, rain hail or shine, no matter who is in the back cooking. Their burgers and wraps are both equal for their own reasons. For what you pay they come out thicker than my thighs, and full of flavour. The Chicken breasts on the burgers are once again, consistent in size, and all-round moist and flavourful. I think it’s fairly safe to say I’ve not once recieved overcooked food. Now, their hot butter spice coating - I have no idea how they do it, but it just hits right every. single. time. You get the heat of cayenne and other ingredients, whilst never tasting gritty, gluggy, or like you’re eating powder straight from a pre-made rub packet - there’s that word again, consistency! All in all, I think the owner has an institution that others have tried to copy - and to those in the back and front of house, your hard work doesn’t...
