Best place to go if you are trying to quit gambling
How ? Because they wont let you gamble😂
They've hired this new caucasian bloke, he'll follow you around.
You enter, go get a drink, he will ask you if you are gambling. Your answer is i just walked in, so you walk around and look for machines to play on. He will come and say if you are not gambling go to sports bar. You talk to someone in gambling area, he comes and say go to sports bar if you are not gambling. You finished playing on one machine and in the middle of moving to another, he comes in and say move to sports bar if you are not gambling. You go look someone else playing and winning something big, he comes in and say move to sports bar if you are not gambling.
It was annoying to start with. Then i realize that i'm coming back home, with cash still in my pocket. Absolutely love it. I actually go in and try to intentionally be seen by this legend, so that he can tell me off and i can not play.😂
Dont know where he did his training. But these pubs are built on luring people into gambling. Shiny lights, noises, people winning. They actually want people to walk around, try their luck. Should i play, should i not play, let me put my hundred in, oh other guy lost lot of money on a machine, i should put money in. Oh this major is big, i should put money in.
It seems like they have skipped the training😂
But this place keeps getting from bad to worst in last year. First they keep having these really young girls, which dont seem to know what a customer service is and keep giggling with each other. Now this legend they got in. Somehow they all seem related, with no training/knowledge/service at all.
Good thing, i havnt gambled a single dollar in last 4 months. Thanks to this place😊
So advice is, if you want to quit, go look for this guy. Works like a chram.
And if you do not like to be followed around, go play...
Read moreThis pub has a great reputation in our local area for great food, great drink options and family dining. We are regulars here, either on the way home from a big business day or just for a quick lunch on the weekend. The specials board always throws up some pleasant surprises, so it's worth checking before heading straight to the main menu. The food has never disappointed the menu has many options for even the fussiest of eaters. We still haven't managed to work our way through it all yet, especially as the specials are so tempting! Depending on who is working behind the bar, you can get some great cocktails that are not on the standard menu. Failing that, the standard cocktails will get you excited. There are numerous TVs around the pub, and you can usually find one of them showing your favourite sport. The car park is spacious and even on a busy day, you should be able to find a space to park. The only downside for transport is that it's not near a train or metro line, and the closest bus stop is about 5-10 mins walk. Still, there is Uber, Didi and other ride shares around (always heaps of drivers available in this area). Great food, great drinks, pub prices. What more...
Read moreOwners son having a power trip and telling people 2 people per machine apparently because it’s busy?? He clearly doesn’t know what busy is. Never ever have we experienced this. We had just finished playing and needed to reply to a text to a friend who was on his way. He told us to leave cause he said we werent playing! And told him not to put money in after!?! Well we wont be telling our friend to come that’s for sure! Absolutely poor customer service my friends are regulars and won’t be coming back. We will stick to Marayong hotel which has better food and quakers in with much better friendly environment. Friend wanted to finish smoke but he still said to leave and go to the sports bar he said it was fine to walk out with!! Lovely security guard stopped us because of the smoke which we knew deep down would not have been allowed but clearly the owners son doesn’t know anything about...
