Tonight's visit (March 2022) was very disappointing. Under the prior management, our previous visits have been enjoyable, delicious, and always left us wanting more!! Tonight there was signage indicating new management, and WOW you could tell. Best highlight for prospective diners?? Wait staff literally walked away in the middle of taking our order to answer the phone. Twice. Disproportionate priority was being given to taking/making takeaway orders, which were churning in and out while we waited. (We don't mind takeaway orders being fulfilled, we just want to eat too!) We requested all our food to come out together, so at first a bit longer wait didn't seem too odd. But then we kept waiting. Then only our "entree"-type foods came out. We aren't fussy and didn't mind at first, but--even though they came out earlier than requested--they were cold. The pappadams (how do you even ruin pappapdams??) were nauseatingly oily; not noticeably-so warm, but ALAS, also cold! Gross!! Since there was still no sign of our mains, we changed our order to takeaway so we could move on with our evening. Which is really their loss, we would have kept ordering drinks and dessert as well! To top it off, quality of the food itself has decreased. For example, the tamarind sauce and mango chutney were changed and bland as. Mains were exceptionally EH, including dry rice. Definitely not bad, we definitely acknowledge that our food was solidly decent. But not as good as before, not worth the poor service of sitting in, and questionably not even worth the price! We will definitely be steering clear and seek our Indian food elsewhere! At least until there's yet another...

We were there at around 8 20pm.They took the order in around 10 minutes which was fine.We were a group of 3 adults & 2 kids.We ordered mainly main course items and only one snack for the kid.Snack was served in 10-15 minutes.That was fine but there was too much delay.At around 9pm , upon asking how long is it going to take to serve the main course as it was already around 40 minutes, we were told the by the unapologetic & unprofessional waitress that the chef will now start cooking the main course.Upon asking why is it taking so long , the waitress said we asked for the snack first.I think they lack knowledge if someone says they want the snack first, it means u start cooking the rest of the items right after u serve the snack so no body has to wait , not after the snack is finished & u pick up the used plates after a long time.It was disgusting and a very bad expereince.Iam sure it is because it is under new management.They have no clue what they are...

We should have realised before walking into the restaurant that this was a bad idea. On initial inspection, the hip height weeds at the front entrance demonstrated the lack of presentation. We waited at least 30 minutes before our order was taken, and the table that arrived after us was served first. Easy mistake, but annoying when you’ve waiting for half an hour. The décor (carpet and smell) was quite musty and stale and the furniture was beyond repair. The meals were pretty bad. You could tell the entrees were reheated and rubbery, and the main meals were soup with a few pieces of meat. The waitress was lovely and you could tell she was overwhelmed trying to juggle front of house and cooking. I feel terrible for writing this because I always like to support local small businesses but not when they provide terrible food and...
