Ordered two soy coffees, came out as regular milk coffees. When I mentioned that I ordered soy, the waitress simply said 'no you didn't'. She then stood there silently as I was a bit stunned by how rude she was.

Zero offers to remake the coffee. Tried to order another but after problems with the wifi (not there problem, I understand the location is tricky), I gave up.

Recommend getting coffee in town before heading up the mountain. Was a shame as this place had been on our go to list for a while.

Re response from owner: I'm still nearby- I tried to order a replacement and pay for it but the eftpos wouldn't work. Wouldn't say no to a refund as we paid and left...

We just stopped here for a cup of coffee so the "food" rating is really a drink rating. A nice warm drink at the right spot. A picturesque spot where you can stopover or use it as a base for multiple hiking tracks. Thanks to the PWS staff for their excellent advice.

Great location and nice stop either before or after a trip to the summit of Mount Wellington.

Might be a good idea to grab a hot drink before heading up to the summit so you either have warmed up inside by drinking it on the way up or have something warm to hold while drinking it...

We were blessed to come across this little cafe on a random adventure.

Welcomed by the staff with a warm smile and hello.

Barista's were smashing it with the no stop orders and service while still being able to smile.

Single O coffee roasters on the menu, there was a single origin on batch brew that was delicious and the house blend as a flat white was also delicious.

Take plenty of warm clothes in the cooler seasons as it can get quiet cold on the mountain.

Thank you Lost Freight Team...

Came here after hiking the mountain and my friend n I grabbed some drinks. I had the Matcha and he had a chocolate milkshake. The matcha was spectacular. I've never felt such peace in life. This renewed my gratitude for life. They've got take away and dine in so you dont have to waste cups or plates, and the front has some tables and chairs for the people dining in. the staff were lovely, the atmosphere they provided was incredibly calming. I will always come back here. xoxo -Canadians

I wandered out of the bush, as part of a days hiking on Kunyani, in to the clearing at The Springs, to find this wonderful little cafe. Really good coffee, great locally made food, and really friendly staff, all set in the leafy surrounding Wellington Park. Great places to sit outside, plenty of parking off Pinnacle Road, and well maintained toilets nearby. The perfect spot for the weary hiker, or as a waypoint on your drive to the top of the mountain.
