Settler's Restaurant — Restaurant in Tasmania

We ordered the lamb roast, schnitzel, and two other meals which I cannot recall. But what I can recall is they all tasted amazing, especially the lamb roast.

The lamb roast was unimaginably tender, and I particularly love the combination of lamb roast, gravy, and some kind of mint jelly which was sweet and refreshing! What a nice touch to a classic & properly-made lamb roast.

The batter of the schnitzel was very crispy and the meat inside is very tender and juicy. The fries and the gravy were also very nice.

Price was on the pricier side, but I have no issues with what I get. It was worth the money. The service was also very warm, and I can tell this family business has been running well and no doubt will...

Wow what a little gem this restaurant is.we have been in tassie for 2 weeks and the chicken Hamonado was the best thing I have eaten this whole time . The Mother and daughter and niece are amazing. Rosemary the daughter did a awesome job as waitress,bartender and host. We are glad we are staying another night now so we can get to taste other wonderfull meals they have to offer. Definitely come and have a meal here you won't be sorry...

Well that was a surprise! We orderd lamb shanks, with a tinge of scepticism, given our first meal at this restaurant and having had lamb shanks at the very best restaurants, but these were, without doubt the best that I have ever had.
