Attended here for my dads birthday as he is an Archer. It listed on the website that there was a Sunday session from 12 pm till 5 pm so we were quite excited. Got there and no music, new owners only taken over 6 weeks ago and they were doing a BBQ as the platter food was not due to begin till 5 pm. We were quite disappointed to say the least. The new owners and staff were brilliant though, very attentive, super lovely and even gave my son some chips. The BBQ they put on was very limited with only Bratwurst but they were nice. Atmosphere was none really, it is a cute venue with good aesthetics but just in a horrible spot. In the car park of a supermarket pretty much so not great. Good luck to the new owners though. All the best. If you update your website I'm sure it will help customers too.

I enjoyed my Thursday afternoon at Archers Torquay, with friendly, attentive staff. Beautiful moody interior with soft music, beautiful vegan garlic and cheese pizza, warmed olives. Highly recommend.

We really liked the vibe of the venue – it had a great atmosphere and felt like the perfect spot to enjoy a few drinks and some nibbles. We were greeted on arrival and had our first drink order taken, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive any further service after that. Despite it not being particularly busy and with three staff on, no one checked back in with us. After waiting around 30 minutes, we ended up settling our bill and heading elsewhere – only to realise we were also charged full price for the spritz, even though the weekday special was advertised.

It was disappointing, as we were looking forward to staying longer. A bit more attentiveness from the team would have really improved the experience and encouraged us to order more and make the most...

Love this bar! Its been our regular Friday night haunt for a year or so now, and it gives me something to look forward to once the week ends. The new owners have a great knowledge and appreciation of wine, catering to different tastes. The pizzas are also great; but the ambience is what I love the most about Archer. I love visiting on a Friday or Sunday when the live music is playing. I highly recommend visiting if you love good wine, great food and even better...
