After years of just driving past Uralla Subway, I finally decided to pop in last week—and I’m glad I did. I was welcomed with a big smile and a friendly hello.
This Subway isn’t your standard city store. It’s tucked inside a lovely old corner shop on Uralla’s main street and has more of a country café vibe. The place smelled amazing—fresh bread, cookies, and all the good stuff.
The store was clean and tidy, and the atmosphere felt really inviting. At the counter, I was served by Amica, who was super friendly and easy to chat with. She even convinced me to grab a few cookies (zero regrets there).
I grabbed my lunch and sat outside at the picnic tables under the big green Subway umbrella—perfect spot for a break.
The sub itself? Honestly better than the picture. Fresh, well put together, and not drowned in sauce (which I really appreciate). It tasted fantastic.
Big shoutout to Amica—you made a great sub! Kudos to the whole Uralla Subway team. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in...
