Angels Cafe is a great place to stop for a bite to eat when travelling through Beaufort. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and make a great cuppa. The toilets are just next door (currently under renovation July 2023, there is a map to the next closest bathroom nearby). There is plenty of parking with some suitable bays for longer vehicles in the town.

Had brunch here on our way back to Melbourne from the Grampians Good old fashioned breakfast with no fancy extras. The eggs Benedict was one of the best I've ever had. Good hit tasty proper mug if coffee made it a great stop.

Fresh, delicious food and drinks. Gr8 little establishment with gorgeous courtyard out back and clean toilet. V professional service and lovely giftware also. As far as bad review above......well I don't know who made your "crap coffee" but it wasn't the owner who made it......have another go this place is prize! And no! Lovely coffee strong and hot. Ordered the scrambled eggs on toast with spinach and tomato. A generous serving, non greasy and delicious. Ian who served me is very passionate about his cafe. He makes his own pies, pasties, quiches and sausage rolls. They look a step up from what you get in most bakeries.The perfect stop over from the Spirit of Tasmania to Adelaide. Great tasting excellent value chicken burger.

The chicken burger with cheese , bacon and salad was very tasty.

My wife's baked potato was also delicious and home made. Our son's chicken on Turkish bread was also tasty.

The cafe was warm with plenty of tables.

We will be back for the lamb shank soup,and steak sandwich.
