Have some ethics and hire staff at least for weekend What u doin to food delivery drivers ( menu log , door dash etc) is not right and not ethical ethical U make them wait for 35-40 mins to pick up order which makes them miss earning opportunity as most of the orders are between 5.30 to 7 pm , u cater to walk ins customers first and keep delivery drivers waiting as if they are ur slaves Time u waste which is 35-40 mins just for them to pic up order from ur shop , in this time they can deliver other orders can make some money for themselves and for their families , delivery drivers cannot reject orders as it impacts their acceptance rate and if it's lower they won't get many orders and u take advantage of this fact Soon most of the delivery drivers will reject orders from ur shop ( at least I will) and u will end up losing more customers U try to save by not hiring staff and in turn cost delivery drivers their precious time and window they have to earn U have good business going and lot of orders , be ethical and get more help on weekend in ur kitchen and stop these malpractices This is not true that staff called in sick It's every weekend that it's just two of u working and no one hence it shows that there is no other staff U don't get 1 order ready first , u take same time to get both the orders ready . U shd call menulog , door dash etc and tell them u cannot accept so many orders if u can't accept them and fulfill them It's not feasible for drivers to pick one order and deliver and come back for second with cost of fuel we have Well good luck coz I already know 2 delivery drivers who have stopped accepting orders from ur shop and I will be 3rd one , soon more to follow Note to customers - if u want to get the orders delivered call the shop directly or drive urself or be prepared to wait for 1...
Read moreOh my goodness. That hands down has to be the best fish I have ever had in my life. The fish was flavourful, fresh, crisp and moist it tasted like it was caught today. Furthermore on the fish it also sat extremely well in my stomach afterwards which is very rare for fish to sit this well for me personally. The chips were beautiful crisp and fluffy on the inside same with the potato cakes. The chili bites are also a hidden gem, if you’re not a fan of spice don’t be afraid it’s quite mild which is a very good thing because it’s more about the flavour of chilli paired with cheese and crispy batter. The main I want to preface is the fish is to die for and I’m extremely brutal about the quality of fish and trust me this is the best. I recently went to cairns and the fish is on the same level if not better. We spent 35 dollars on 2 battered fish, 2 potato cakes, minimum chips, 2 chili bites and a 1.25L of cold coca-cola and the price point to quality is justified ten fold, it’s top notch. Read moreThis used to be my favourite fish and chip shop back when the chips were actually hot and crunchy, but these days it has changed. Although the service is excellent, the chips are no longer crunchy, despite asking for extra crunchy chips instead you can easily bend them without them snapping. The chicken salt is barely there, even when you ask for extra it is like the salt shaker is blocked. The gravy is the worst, it is so very runny like water and needs to be richer and thicker so that food can be dipped in it and get a good coating, or it can be poured onto food and be thick enough not to leak through cardboard or paper, because being take away food you don’t want the gravy leaking through like water and coating your clothing or car.
