Bannockburn Takeaway has welcoming and honest customer service. This joint has a way of really revealing what fish and chips really is and what it stands for. I walked into the joint and was greeted with exemplary customer skills. I have ordered from here many a time, and can happily say that the chips are always crispy and all of their other food is extremely fresh. Thought we would try this place for something different. Firstly the person that answered the phone couldn’t speak English and had to be put through to someone else. (What is the point of answering phone in Australia if you can’t speak the language) Secondly asked for chips well done. Well they where barely cooked and greasy as. Thirdly asked for dim sims in batter. They were still cold on the inside and one still partly frozen. Fish was soggy and greasy. Pineapple fritters where ok if that’s all your after.
