We have returned to this restaurant on several occasions over the last few years, not out of enjoyment but necessity, as there are limited options for local food. Each time we have gone back, we are so disappointed with the food that we vow not to return, yet here I am once again questioning my life decisions after another uninteresting rice, watery curry with bland frozen vegetables and mass produced dry Indian grocer naan bread.

This time is different though, not only are we disappointed in the food (once again), this time we had asked about delivery and were told that they could drop it off at our home!

Imagine my surprise when we got a $135 bill, with only $71 of food ordered. When we questioned the large bill, we were told that a $50 delivery surcharge had been added. Given other local restaurants deliver for under $20 this felt absurd and exploitative, especially since we weren't told about it until they were at our door. This explanation also doesn't account for an additional $14 on the bill when we compared against the prices on their website.

We will not go back, we will encourage others not to eat there and I hope this review makes you reconsider your options. Regardless of what alternative you choose, you'll be better off than if you were eating food from...

I do not recommend this restaurant. Our food was very average, the Naan bread was like a dry pita bread (Changed from what we had received before), we paid extra for garlic naan but received plain, the chicken wings had a sickly taste to them and were un-eatable. I understand it was a Friday night and they were busy, and sometimes you get a bad batch of food, but what sealed the deal was overcharging us by $26. When we realised the mistake we made contact with the restaurant but they couldn't care less. They simply said that they don't have access to receipts (Isn't that a legal requirement for them to keep receipts of their sales?) and what they charged us must have been right. Even though we had evidence of our conversations with them via messenger, confirming the order and prices. They flat out refused to do the right thing and refund us the overcharged amount, we will never ever order...

First experience eating IN at our local Indian restaurant and WOW it exceeded expectations!

David, the host, made us feel very welcome. He explained each dish to us and was cheerful and attentive throughout our meal. We both enjoyed the 'Thaali meal' + papadums and dessert. AMAAAAZING value and the food was soooo good! Really enjoyed the veggie curry and butter chicken! The restaurant is BYO as well and has a nice cozy atmosphere. We will be back and with a bigger group of friends next time!
