Daniels Donut Shepparton — Restaurant in Victoria

Lovely staff in a warm and clean environment but unfortunately that was where my nice experience ended. After biting into my steak and cheese pie and finding quite a big piece of gristle, the bad experience continued with several more pieces of gristle encountered (as shown in the photo) which was very disappointing. Why would Daniel's risk their brand and the lovely flavour of their pies by using sub-standard meat.?I am not sure that you could use the label of 'steak' for the pie I ate - more like other cheaper cuts to me! After trying these doughnuts a handful of times (and enjoying them), I decided to drive to Shepparton from where I live (a round trip of 132 kms) - on Monday afternoon (14/06/21).
