I’ve been a repeat customer at this Hungry Jack’s location and have experienced both high and low points that warrant an honest and balanced review. One of the strongest aspects of this store is its drive-through service. The speed is exceptional, and the staff are generally friendly, polite, and efficient. Even during peak hours, the wait time is minimal, and that level of consistency in service deserves recognition.
However, there are some troubling issues that continue to detract from what could be a great overall experience. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed questionable practices at the ordering window—specifically, some female staff appear to have difficulty hearing customers, possibly as a tactic to upsell items. This deceptive behavior may increase profits in the short term, but it undermines trust and damages the customer experience.
More concerning are the hygiene and food quality issues. I have twice encountered flies emerging from chicken tenders, raising serious questions about food storage and cleanliness. In addition, the chips are frequently underfilled, and coffee service is inconsistent. Staff often seem unsure about the differences between a flat white, latte, and cappuccino, leading to incorrect orders. On my most recent visit, I addressed this directly. After receiving a latte that was more foam than coffee, I returned it. Rather than addressing the issue professionally, the barista appeared dismissive. Fortunately, a young male staff member corrected the mistake with professionalism and courtesy. Again on another visit nothing has changed, the coffee is 60% the balance is air. While the efficient drive-through is a highlight, management needs to address these deeper issues in training, hygiene, and staff attitude. With the store currently sitting at a 3.5-star rating, there is clearly room—and need—for improvement. Recommendation is to avoid this store and spend your hard earned money where you are appreciated.

Read moreI come to this HJ location quite often and would often order Iced Mochas (with fairy floss bursties now that their brown sugar bursties are no longer available) from this store. Today (17/3/24) I ordered the same thing. For the first time, to my surprise, the girl that served me said they cannot add the bursties into the iced mochas, mainly because they don't have the functionality on their POS system to enter the addition of bursties into a mocha. EVERY OTHER HJ store (including themselves) were able to do it all other times. She insisted ALL the other stores must have done something wrong as "we are not supposed to do that" (add the bursties). What worsened the incident was her attitude and mannerism - unsuitable for customer interaction. But I am going to file this under "lack of product knowledge or lack of proper training" on her behalf, which resulted in a missed sale and a disappointed customer that may never want to return to that store and possibly tell their friends the avoid the store to avoid inconvenience. An absolutely pathetic choice of action and an illogical explanation resulting in a loss of a sale. This was only for one product. Imagine what she can do with all the other menu items?!?! My order was short two burgers. Had to let the staff know order was wrong. And how dare I ask for serviettes! And then they forgot my soft serve cone in all the confusion.
Then when I opened my whopper, no lettuce. When I called the manager told me the order taker told me there was no lettuce as they had run out. Which I wasn’t.
I was also told they had 3 staff not come in! That should never be the answer to my complaint.
I also didn’t get onion. Look at the picture of what I got compared to the advertisement.
The total experience was disappointing. Was promised a call from the area manager but two days later no call.
I notice on here Hungryjacks monitor and tell you to contact them via their link. Just follow up what you promise at store level and provide something close to your advertising!

After chasing up Hungry Jacks several times I finally got a refund.
Then here publicly Hungry Jacks claim they know nothing of my issue yet it has been resolved.
The store knew about it. The area manager knew about it but the response here is their generic response to suggest they are willing to resolve.
My experience is if you chase them up you will get a refund for an inferior product.
