I'd like to start by saying due to cost of living we are lucky to have takeaway dinner once every couple of months, so we were really looking forward to tonight

We'd read lots of good things about this place, and really wanted to support local.

It started of strong by us somehow getting our order ahead of people that had been waiting 45min+

But then... it pains me to say this but, I've never had a bad kebab in my life until tonight!

We only live 5 minutes from the shop and by the time we got home to eat it, it was stone cold, I almost think they put it in the fridge!

I paid extra $2 for cheese and let's just say, that wasn't even 10 cents worth and half of it was on the paper, not in the bread.

Even though my girlfriend asked for sauce when she ordered, there was no sauce on my kebab at all, and she didn't notice that sauces weren't ticked on the wrapper while in store... hence the no sauce... but cmon who doesn't have at least garlic sauce

We got a regular hsp to share and that was stone cold too.

The free can of coke was also cold... so that was a win.

Honestly if the food was hot I bet it would have been delicious and I would have probably enjoyed even with hardly any cheese and no sauce... it did have potential.

I've heard that the wait is usually worth it at this place but unfortunately we well and truly lucked out.

I am hesitant to try this place again but I always believe in second chances and it was a standard Friday night... next time I'll try mid week or mid afternoon but Friday and Saturday night are off the...

Utterly ridiculous to have to wait 40mins for a small take away order. Completely understand if they were getting slammed and had been telling customers it would be a long wait, or if something went wrong and they apologised and communicated that - but to be told "yep, it's almost ready" periodically while sitting there and waiting for 40mins is unacceptable. This is an area mostly populated by young families. Time/timing is crucial, and one of the most important commodities for anyone with young kids. To not communicate effectively about how long something will take, on a Friday night when there are likely family members at home waiting on food, is simply not ok. And let's be honest, that actually is true regardless of whether or not kids are involved. To then not apologise, or offer any discount or refund, or even an explanation... Well that just shows a lack of care. The food is "okay" at best, the price is way too high, and the service... Well if you've read this far you know all about that. Would...

I want to support small, upcoming businesses - but they need to avoid making incredibly integral mistakes like customer service and making wrong orders.

The food is quite good, HSPs and Kebabs are as good as any joint you'd like to have after a night out, and the burgers are similar to those you might expect from your regular fish & chips joint, although falls short from those you expect at other local businesses at ACTC or Belmont.

The primary mistake made is clarifying the order before placing it. Ensuring its the correct meat in a HSP, ensuring the components of a burger.

Another mistake is ensuring all the food is in the bag, such as chips as was placed in the order.

The prices are higher than an average spot by $2 - $3 per item. You expect that to translate to better service if not the quality of the food.

I expect these issues to iron out over time as managers appropriately train their staff and staff become...

I’ve ordered this dish before and had a much better experience, but this time was really disappointing. The menu photo shows something completely different to what i got i e attached a photo of what i got and what is advertised . What’s even more frustrating is the misleading pricing. The last time I ordered this, it was $20 and came as a full-sized portion. This time, it was listed as a “special” for $15, so I assumed I was getting the same meal at a discount. Instead, it was a much smaller portion, which wasn’t made clear anywhere. That kind of pricing tactic feels really sneaky. It’s disappointing when a restaurant isn’t consistent with quality, portion sizes, or pricing. If you’re going to change portion sizes, at least be upfront about it!

A few weeks ago, my friend and I bought burgers here and they were burnt. We called and informed them but didn’t return them—we just threw them away and stopped going for 3–4 weeks. When I went back, I politely asked if I could check the burger before leaving, and the guy agreed. The next day, when I ordered again, he asked my name and then told me I wasn’t allowed to check the food “for hygiene reasons.” I explained that I only check because sometimes the food is burnt or uncooked, but instead of handling it professionally, he became very rude and aggressive. I ended up asking for a refund and left. This was extremely unprofessional and aggressive behavior by the slim boy with bright skin and a beard.

I recently savoured the chicken kebab and indulged in a cup of cardamom chai at warralily kebabs and Burgers, and it was a delightful culinary experience. The chicken kebab was perfectly grilled, tender, and bursting with savoury spices, leaving my taste buds in pure delight. Pairing it with the aromatic cardamom chai was a stroke of genius, as the chai's warmth and subtle spice complemented the kebab beautifully. The combination offered a symphony of flavours that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a delectable and satisfying meal.
