Today Saturday 17th may 2025. Around 2pm I walked into sullies with my husband which is our usual go to place and a meeting point with friends. I have recommended the place for alot of people. But today I was highly disappointed by the reception from the young man there. When he brought my ceaser chicken wrap I inquired if there was bacon he said yes that it normally comes with it just like onion.I said ok I don't eat bacon. He explained that he will not refund my money and will pick out the bacon. I clarified that I do not want refund he can keep the money and that food. I will just have my chocolate. After a few minutes he came back and slammed a plate in front of me .I was offended by his rude attitude but decided not to talk about it as there were other customers and I said " thank you". When I checked the plate I saw that he just picked out some bacon and returned the same food not caring if I was allergic or not. That is so hazardous and risky for health and safety. He needs to go for training on attitude and food safety. He was very rude. But Inspite of today's experience Sullies is a good place to go.one staff misbehaviour or a bad day should not be cloud all the good reviews. I know management will look into...
Read moreWent to this cafe today for a takeaway coffee. I was eager to buy a store bought coffee as I wanted a vanilla latte - something that I cannot make at home. I went in and browsed some lovely terrariums while I waited for my coffee.
What I got was not coffee. I had two sips of this disaster drink and threw it away. I don’t know what it was - the milk tasted curdled and flavour resembled something “chemical like” - I could barely associate this drink with a vanilla latte! I did not want to bring it back to the café as there was only one barista on and didn’t want to insult her as it might have just been the blend/coffee type and might have got the same result again.
I held onto it as I walked home. I was tempted to try a vanilla latte from McDonald’s but thought my money would be better saved in my pocket. Would avoid Sullies Kiosk at all costs. Their snacks looked good - I didn’t try them - a cafe is all about the coffee and it was not...
Read moreFirst time to try this cafe at first we were standing outside and there’s only 2 customers waiting for take away coffee. The girls saw us and didn’t greet or ask us what we want. Went to the counter to ask to be seated because we wanted to get good breakfast, it’s our thing to go on cafes, restaurants and give review.
Now for the food it was delicious we have nothing against on it, the coffee was good too. It was a good breakfast, we love our coffee and we are too full.
The staff at the front needs more experience, and needs to learn basic hospitality skills. We finish the bfast left the store saying thank you to them but no one response. Maybe their just kids so i try to understand but anyways thanks, breakfast here was good.
I wanted to give 5 star...
