I had read the reviews beforehand and, in hindsight, should have taken them as a warning.
I visited the store intending to dine in, but was immediately put off by the state of the dining areaātables were dirty and cluttered with leftover boxes. The only clean table was occupied by a staff member loudly FaceTiming.
I ordered a 3-piece box and politely requested one piece to be a thigh. To my surprise, I was told no. When I asked again for clarification, the staff member responded rudely with, āyou get what you get.ā When I opened the box, I found one drumstick and two extremely small wing pieces, barely larger than nuggets. Disappointed with both the service and the food, I only ate the drumstick and chips and discarded the rest.
What made this experience even more frustrating is that every other KFC Iāve visited has always tried to accommodate reasonable requests. I clearly remember ordering a 21-piece feed from the Geelong store and receiving drumsticks and thighs as requestedāno issues at all.
As I was leaving, I overheard another customer disputing his 21-piece order with what appeared to be the manager. The customer was clearly upset about receiving mostly small wings, and the manager showed no willingness to resolve the issue. This only reinforced my negative impression.

I ordered a zinger box and regular popcorn chicken extra salt on the chips.
I got the order and moved forward and checked my order, luckily because I didnāt receive my popcorn chicken.
Only to go back through the drive through (if I had driven out to the the high way there would be no way I would have gotten my food or money back).
When I drove back through the drive thru to say āhey you forgot my popcorn chicken and thereās is no salt on my chips can re do it pleaseā to the man who I can only assume as Indian or Sri Lankan as he did not wear a name badge, who served me at 9pm tonight, yell at me saying Iām holding up his drive thru times and Iām annoying him. This guy needs to be fired or have some serious training in how to be an actual human being representing a company.
We all know kfc is junk food, itās easy and quick, and not hard. I know what Iām paying for and kfc should know what they are serving. Iām driving home from Melbourne and I donāt need attitude from a man in a drive...

For some reason they have these amazing touch screens that don't work, they then have a digital menu above them. Even though the touch screens show the entire menu. The touch screens don't always work so you have to go up to the counter to place you order. You look up, there's no menu! I asked where the menu is and was told it's above the touch screens, so hard to walk back look at the menu again and go back to the counter to order. What a joke, it looks fancy but it totally impracticle. Food took ages, with only 4 orders on the go the kitchen was overwhelmed. Tables were sticky and dirty, struggled to find one that wasn't....
