Ordered food for the same table in two separate orders one after the other. Friend’s food came, which was eaten while we were still waiting. Went to counter to enquirer where our order was & we were told it’s on its way. Once received, I got a stone cold ($31.00) steak sandwich. I immediately sent it back & was told that they can make another. I refused & asked for a refund.

I asked to speak to one of the owners & was given a story that the steak, once cooked is rested for 5 minutes on a timer before serving. As a chef, a thin piece of scotch filet (4-6mm) does not need to be rested. On top of this it was chopped into pieces. Asked to speak to the chef but was refused. I then tasted my daughters chips & was shocked on the amount of chicken salt on them. As a former restaurant & cafe owner I was disappointed in the food & the service. All I can say is “ own your mistakes” don’t give your customers a story when you blatantly forgot about an order.

This place is a no go for me, not because of the cold steak sandwich but how the complaint was handled. By the way a steak sandwich is on two pieces of bread & not on a roll. Steak sandwich’s...

Totalling $109 for four people, including lunch and drinks. I would say my order was quite on average; I ordered the grilled haloumi sandwich, nothing really stood out but there was nothing to bring it down either, the nice addition was the avocado: Sandwich is a 6.5/10 for me.

But my peers loved their Eggs Benedict, with the addition of mushrooms and extra bacon, they cleaned their plates.

The drinks we ordered, the mocha, hot chocolate and iced coffee were wonderfully presented.

For the little things that make the place better, the table water was cold and refreshing, the food fire was warm and comforting and the hanged local artwork was eye-catching.

For the little things that make the place slightly worse, other than the floorboards being a little loose where I was sitting with the majority of the traffic knocking it.

This place deserves to be proud with what they have accomplished in the small town of Noojee and I would love to keep trying out items...

I woke this morning wanting a little adventure. I opened my gold map and looked East to see if I could find a spot near Noogee. Feeling a tummy rubble I stopped for breakfast at Little Red Duck Cafe. To my suprise the cafe became a highlight of my morning. Smashed Avo with poached eggs on sourdough with fetta crumbs with a cafe latte. The plate was presented with a smile with all the queues of a Donna Hay inspired creation. Beautifully plated. The eggs were perfectly poached. Runny rich yokes sufficiently coating the baby spinach leaves. A lovely suprise. Cafe latte was great. Temperature right on, sweet Arabica, finishing with a hint of Robusta to the back of the tongue to finish. All round a great start to my day....

Wow! This is a quaint and cosy cafè / restaurant that is a very relaxing venue to eat at. Inside, there is plenty of space to move around between tables and on those cold days a roaring fire (thoughtfully protected behind a child proof enclosure) does its thing to keep you warm whilst you dine. The outdoor area is quite large too. The staff on shift when my wife and I visited were very friendly and attentive. The food and drink we devoured was scrumptious and hearty, and brought to our table in a timely manner. Portion sizes were grande too and definitely value for money. The menu also caters for varying diets. Make sure you check out this gem of an eatery if you're in the vicinity.

I went on a spontaneous trip recently to Noojee and got hungry soo I just drove around till I found a cafe. I came across little red duck cafe, first of all cute name and second the atmosphere is very lovely, calming and cozy! The staff are soo kind and funny, had a great chat to one of the ladies. Everyone is friendly and such an awesome vibe. Now the food is spectacular, my gosh I couldn’t even finish my dish because it was soo big and yummy!! I also got a chocolate milkshake and definitely one of the best chocolate milkshakes I’ve ever had!!! Will definitely be going back and bringing friends and family! Highly recommend!

This place has something for everyone and probably the best customer service around. A brief stop for a hot chocolate and some cake was just what we needed after a cold day in the area. Pleasantly decorated with plenty of local produce and other everyday items on display, you can certainly get a good meal here. Picked up some local honey to support the local producers. I noticed a couple having a lovely sandwich lunch and another with a tasty looking pie. Staff are just lovely and so helpful. Good parking out the front. Kid friendly. Well worth a visit.
