Waited in bay to have fresh hash browns made FRESH as i enjoy a all day breakfast, But we waited in bay and got my food 5min witch in the dark i confirm was at least all there, soo the hash browns were packet in the bag first???? Under the burger chips for partner and 3 B&E mc muffins, so the 3 expensive golden hash browns were well SQUASHED together and with there cute little packaging that was smooshed in to the hash browns, I guess the small hash brown just dont stack up against the rest of a order packed on top of them, i add to this that it was if they (hash browns specificly) were staked ontop of each other as the hash browns were SQUASHED on top of each other so the person packing it didnt even think 'oh wait the weight might just squish those soft hash browns they are expensive per hash brown so i best move those and put them in last' but no with all the warmers and such on hand must not have though to do this, I understand people make mistakes but i imagine the problem solving abilities for some staff are just not there its not the only time orders of mine have been damage/eaten as i dont tend to eat my food till i get home i was perplexed to see a bite taken out of one of the big mac patties i warn you and i expect the lowest of result when going to any Mac Donalds they way i feel okay that i just got and paid horrible food, or even not everything i paid for, i expect to receiving my order in some capacity to what its advertised at, no long ago a man had police called on him for Mac Donalds handing him the wrong order dose that mean i should take this further, over this horrible treatment of food/ lack of service, i was offered 3 replacement hash browns and honestly dont want to go and get them maybe if i had no food in the house might risk it, why should any mistakes by a organization be a customers fault im sure that man had better things to do then basically be fined fir theft his order was more then what he got aswell so ill leave the decision up you the consumer population consider it a well explained warning you wont get what you pay for and good luck when the food that already cost lost get higher and the quality is not there for what the customer gets or well dosent get in most cases. Thanks for reading i expect nothing in the slightest to chance, and police would be pointless now thinking about it as a corrupt force is pointless for sure but hay just another thing i expect nothing to change of cause they spend alot of time in the street though drama evey night lost of fun this is what we pay for...
Read moreLiterally the worst Maccas I’ve personally ever eaten from. This was the last straw. Every single time I order from here, whether it’s drive thru, dine in or order in, there is always something wrong or missing.
Ive done an order in and was missing two entire large chips, had to drive back the McDonald’s and get them, which destroys the point of ordering in.
Once when dining in, I actually witnessed a mouse running behind the cushioned seats, they lifted the seats and tried to find it after I reported it, but couldn’t. Refused to sit in that spot ever since. It’s the seats just next to the playground.
And then there’s Drive Thru. Now I used to work in fast food, for a year, and I know about the drive thru times very well, but seriously it doesn’t count if you just park all the cars. My last drive thru experience that ended my visits here went like this:
We had an online order, and said that at the speaker box, we also added that we would like to use 2 has brown vouchers that they had given us (because of their last mess up) and she said “ok sure, no worries” and drove to the first window. We were met with rudeness like I know you don’t want to work there but have some form of nice human interaction lol. Anyway she double checked our order and we noticed she didn’t mention the 2 hash browns and we brought that up, and she said “ok but next time mention that at the speaker box” and we said we did and was met with silence, then the ok to drive to next window. Guy asked if we ordered something we didn’t, we said no, we had this online order and repeated it back. He then handed us the incorrect drinks and we sent them back and were told to park. We waited about 15mins before we got our food, note that we were given the same incorrect drinks again (same ones from before) and the wrong order again. We said this to the woman and she asked us to repeat our order again. When we did get our things we checked the bag because you cannot leave here ever without checking, and guess what. Was missing the 2 hash browns. So we went back in and grabbed those.
I wish you luck in...
Read moreTo preface the below, I used to work at this restaurant for many years.
Morwell McDonalds has a reputation for putting their metrics before the customers. For instance drive through has a goal time for customers to have their order taken and their food handed out. This timer finishes after the last window, meaning when you get sent to bay, the timer stops. This goes a long way to explain why you get sent to Bay even if you just ordered a cheeseburger.
Furthermore this incentivises corner cutting as experienced today and multiple mornings recently.
The breakfast menu has one common theme: muffins Muffins are great when toasted with their dedicated toasters, but downright awful when cooked in the standard bun toaster used for. The difference is equivalent to toast vs warmed bread. One is crisp and satisfyingly, the other is chewy and dense.
I would not be making this review if this was an isolated event, but it has been a common occurrence for me lately despite ordering during the regular breakfast period.
The service has always been adequate and nothing special, especially when it comes to drive through and baying cars.
The food is amazing when done right but hard to get through when not
Overall I will keep coming here, but I certainly wouldn't recommend the breakfast menu unless you're willing to...
