Routley's Bakery North Geelong — Restaurant in Victoria

One thing I can't stand is rudeness. I've been coming here for years and lately whenever I come in it seems I get served by either one of the two new non-Australian girls who look like sisters. I always make a point to be extra polite to see if I can get a "please" or "thank you" out of them but after maybe 10 times I haven't got either. About the only thing I get out of them is "would you like a receipt?". I also always make a point of saying thank you and goodbye and stand there and wait for them to say it back. They haven't ever said goodbye once and just look away. They always look miserable so why are they even working there if they hate it so much? Oh and they've forgotten my sauce I paid for a few times too! Unbelievable.

I loved Routley's but I won't be going back there on principle until they get rid of those two. Just hire locals please I never had a problem with anyone for years...

Something is seriously wrong with their meat pie product!! I recently had a delivery for a birthday celebration . I was so embarrassed as I’d highly recommending of the pale ale meat pie which had very little meat , full of gelatinous jelly and large pieces of fat . Absolutely not ok ! Pastry was nice , that was about it . Family beef burgandy pie was also a disaster with again little meat , gelatinous filling . Going forward I will never buy a meat pie or meat pastry again . Only vegetarian product . We have always in the past have never had any issue but it will be some time before we can return .

Larger pies are reasonably priced , however something seriously needs looking into with your meat pie quality and content . I’d give 1 star normally , however pastry was delicious and...

I've been caught twice now with stale goods from Routleys North Geelong. Firstly I purchased Mocha buns a while ago and they were stale. Today I purchase packet sandwiches and they were dry and unedible. The use by date on the bottom of the pack was the following day. I also purchased a Boston Bun, same again, dry and stale and to top it off the counter staff were very rude. The girls behind the sandwich counter wouldn't help by getting the sandwiches out of the display case but told me to go to the register and get the girl there to come and help which I did while they stood and chatted. Very rude. We won't be back for...
