Stratford Bakery — Restaurant in Victoria

Called in for lunch on Monday the 3rd Jan 2022 around 1320. Place was extremely busy with three ladies working, not a lot of food left but still a great variety of pies etc. A meat pie, sausage roll, meat pastie and a ham, cheese and tomato focaccia all three of us were extremely satisfied. Customer service from the younger girl was great she asked about our holiday and Xmas new year and wished us a safe and happy remainder of holidays. Highly recommend this place for a food stop. Just want to say if anyone is going Gippsland way and happens to go through Strafford U have to stop at the bakery. Bought some sweet chilli pies today some to take home and put in freezer as well because oh my gosh they r insane. And there sweet stuff there looks amazing wanted to buy the store up today. Don't know anyone there but all I can say is if ur going past U must drop in otherwise U don't know what ur missing out on. Very expensive, 50 cent surcharge on anything under $10, but not to worry you will spend over that. Bacon is very salty, mince meat in pies is runny and flavourless. Mini pizzas have way to much shredded ham on them I pull off all the ham I can before eating, then they taste pretty good. Staff is friendly and the shop is always busy. Desserts look great but I haven’t been able to finish one. Everything on the menu seems to have too much of something wether it’s ham or sugar...
