Looking for somewhere to stop for a good tea or coffee and feed on that long haul back to Melbourne, but you don't want to have to leave the highway and traipse around a town in search of a cafe, well look no further here it is. We found this little gem in Stratford a few days ago, we arrived mid-morning and they had a great little breakfast menu going, we decided to just settle for a pot of tea with some toast & jam. Fabulous thick cut buttered toast arrived in no time, accompanied by a superb jam. Great food and great service, would love to try it their lunch and dinner...

There's loads to choose from with a hotbox, fresh pre-made sandwiches/rolls, scones & biscuits, cakes & slices Breakfast menu and a lunch menu. Have you that fussy one? That's cool to let them know and they will sort that for you no hassle.

Bring the dog and sit out in the garden and enjoy a pot of tea with some scones whilst your dog can enjoy a fresh bowl of water.

It's a nice cafe where they sell local products. We stop for a coffee and snacks. The staff were very friendly. There are a few table inside as well as an outside area. We ordered a few things including the crepes with maple syrup. The crepes were good, but the maple syrup wasn't maple syrup. It was a maple flavoured syrup, which I found to be very disappointing. I believe the menu should indicate it's maple flavoured syrup instead of indicating that it's served with...
