I went to the Morwell Subway last week on 13/6/2023. The store was absolutely unclean and I recieved very poor customer service. For my footlong sub, I asked for some veg to be added before toasting it. After toasting, I asked for some other veg to be added and the person said to me that it would be extra and that if I asked for it before toasting it, it would have been fine but after toasting it they have to charge me extra. What difference does it make? The sub was open and you still have sauces and other things to add so why charge additional amounts, solely for adding veg twice (and not even the same veg). The whole store was unclean as well. There were stains and marks on the glasses, chairs and tables. The people working there had no cleanliness, and used the same gloves for everything. I have also looked at other reviews online and can see that most people are not happy. I am unsure as to why you still allow them to run the Subway under these conditions. Order was delayed from menu log pickup time (had only just started my order on pickup time) rushed the food preparation, for items that needed to be toasted in sandwich press, only was put in briefly. Cheese wasn't melted and items cold. Footlong had most of the meat on one side, seemed like half of what you would normally get. Just seemed really rushed and careless. What was worse is that the guy who seemed to be teaching new staff was instructing the new guy as if these practices were the acceptable. If it was my business I would want to know what was going on. Don't think I'll be back any time soon will try mid valley next time. Usually don't bother with bad feedback but again I think the owner would want to know what experience the staff were serving up...

Staff have literally whinged about working there to me.
Staff use sandwich knives to clean food gunk trapped in bench crevice.
Staff aren't friendly. One staff member literally didn't speak to me until it was time to take my money.
