The Boatramp Cafe — Restaurant in Victoria

Visited your cafe a few days ago for breakfast as we have done many times before. We ordered 2 coffees and 2 egg and bacon rolls with BBQ sauce. When meals brought out both contained Tomato sauce. I returned 1 off the rolls as my partner does not eat tomato sauce and advised of error. Staff member said "sorry you did ask for bbq i just wrote sauce" and took roll to replace. When she brought it back out and placed it down she turned to walk off then turned back to us and advised " i just wiped off the sauce and put BBQ on" I looked at her in shock and asked What?.. she repeated again this time adding "if you really want an new one ill do a new one" I looked at my partner he just shook his head to say no. We did not eat rolls and reason we declined replacement was pure concern as to what we would receive back.. When we got back to our car we witnessed her offering roll to other customer and people walking past. The fact that anyone in the food industry would think wiping off something and then giving back customer or offering left food to other people is completely unacceptable We wont...

What a wonderful surprise, finding this little piece of paradise right next to the beach. Had a great walk on the fabulous beach and then got rewarded with great coffee and superb meals. This place reminds me of the beach shack kiosks of the 80's. Simple building, but caring staff and beautiful location make an experience to remember.
