Stopped by here on Saturday the 14th of September 2024, it was lovely and warm when we entered as it was so chilly outside. We were greeted by a very tall man who had a moustache and who made us feel very welcomed. I really like the vibe in this cafe. We ordered toasted sandwiches I saw on the board Ham Cheese & Tomato, I told him I couldn’t eat the ham n cheese and would it be alright if I could have tomato with onion only, he said yes we can do that for you, that’s no problem - I was amazed by that as normally you get told in other places they won’t do it. My husband had Chicken, with mayonnaise & salad, along with two hot drinks, hot choc and a long black coffee. The atmosphere was a delight in this cafe, and the layout was amazing, sparkling lights, witch dolls etc. More ppl were coming into the cafe and it filled up quickly. The service was brilliant, the toasties were a hit and the drinks were perfectly hot, it was a...

Charged 22$ for two small coffees listed at 4.50 each and 1 coconut berry slice. Not sure how that math, maths but realized after we left. What was worse, the coffee was terrible. Slice was good but not 13$ good

Update: since the fantastic reply blaming the customer for poor quality coffee and being ripped off on price, you now get 1 star.

Lack of consideration toward your customers and the fact running a business means being able to handle the good with the bad- instead of a sob story, playing the victim, you should take constructive criticism and let it help improve your business. And before you bite the hand that feeds you, instead of calling your customers a liar 4.50$ is what is listed on your counter take away cups, ohh and the menu…. But for the record, just normal milk, so thanks for confirming you did rip us off. Refreshment? We made instant Nescafé at camp, just to rid of the taste of what we paid...

Wow. Where do I begin? If you’re ever wandering through the charming little town of Walhalla and think to yourself, “Gee, I’d love some cold coffee, unpleasant food, and a sprinkle of attitude,” then Walhalla Witchery Cafe is the place for you!

The coffee? Served with all the warmth of a haunted crypt. The food? A true culinary mystery—bland, unappealing, and best left unsolved. And the customer service? Absolutely enchanting. The woman running the place (I’m assuming she’s the owner) greeted us with the kind of charm that makes you question every life choice that led you to that table.

Truly an unforgettable experience—for all the wrong reasons. Can’t wait to...

Very happy with our stop here! Popped in bang on open at 10am today and greeted immediately by the friendly owner and a lovely, warm ambience to take the edge off the super chilly morning. The fireplace was a welcome surprise. Beautiful twinkling lights everywhere and lots of little treasures to uncover. The coffee and hot chocolate were delicious and served hot, which I love. We had toasties (one GF and one normal) and they were wonderful, some of the nicest we have had. Quick and cheerful service and we waited for our takeaway order sitting on their comfy lounge. What more could you want! Thank you ☺️
