Indian Rasoi — Restaurant in Wagga Wagga City Council

We have been loyal customers for eight years and have always enjoyed the food here, but unfortunately, tonight’s experience has left us really disappointed.

We placed our order at 5:22 pm and, according to the website tracker, it was marked as delivered at 6:16 pm, but we never received it. We called the restaurant and spoke with Jaspal, who confirmed after checking with the delivery driver that the order had been left at the wrong address.

Because the food had been sitting on someone else’s doorstep for over an hour, we asked for a fresh order. Jaspal assured us that would be sorted. However, when the food arrived just ten minutes later, it was cold, clearly the same food that had been retrieved from the original drop off spot.

We rang again and spoke with Jaspal’s wife, who told us to return the cold food and they would remake it. By this stage it was 7:50 pm. Then we were told the issue was due to the wrong address being entered at checkout, which was not true. The mistake was made by the delivery driver, not us.

In our view, the only fair solution would have been a fresh order, a refund, or a credit. Instead, we were told nothing would be done unless we brought the food back ourselves.

I had a very bad experience in restaurant. I came from along the way sydney to hay Me and my partner decided to eat some indian food in wagga wagga centre point. But she told me eat pizza and indian food too. So we took one pizza from pizza hut and went to directly indian rasoi. When we were reach there with our pizza she refused to dine in restaurant. As we told to the lady at the reception we need to eat here indian delicious food with pizza. She told us that do not bring outside food in our restaurant. We said we try enjoy pizza with indian food and her behaviour was very rude and did not listen us. I dont know she is the owner or staff of the restaurant. But she is very very over-smart lady she think is the only one Handle the restaurant. We also run the restaurant and motel. We always welcome people and provide everything they need. She did not know how to provide customer service and how to talk with customer. I read past reviews and i am right her behaviour is very very rude. This restaurant is not even for 1 start i can give 0.5 star. I came to the restaurant with smile face and tired from sydney . But she did not listen to us anything. 0/10 Appalling service - got harassed by the Indian guy taking orders working at the counter. If they make a mistake in taking your order, they'll harass you and try and force you to pay for it.

Ordered a dish. We got home and found the incorrect dish had been given to us.

We called Indian Rasoi and they said they would have the correct dish ready for us in 10 minutes and not to bring the incorrect dish back.

When we returned to the resteraunt, the young Indian guy at the counter said we would also have to pay for the incorrect dish they provided us.

He then went to pull up CCTV footage to try and prove that we had ordered the incorrect dish and that it wasn't his mistake. Over $5. 🤣🤣 This seemed pretty ridiculous and never have we had a resteraunt be so desperate that they ​pull up CCTV footage to try and prove the customer had ordered the incorrect dish.

He checked the CCTV footage and said he couldn't hear the order because the resteraunt was too noisy. That probably explains why he made the mistake in the first place.

But even after this, he said we would have to pay for his mistake for the incorrect dish. And then he started arguing about why we didn't bring back the incorrect dish. We didn't bring it back because the resteraunt lady on the phone told us...
