Kurnall Cafe & Lunch Bar — Restaurant in Welshpool

I was a regular customer from 2005 to 2009 spending around $100 a week Monday to Saturday when they used to be open on Saturday mornings. The boss lady short changed me several times. I resolved to never go back if she did it 3 more times. I've never been back. An employee said he was going there one day to get lunch. I warned him to check his change if the old woman there served him. Sure enough she tried to rip him off. Their son and daughter would help out on Saturday mornings. Here's the funny part, I saw on a number of occasions the son would slip 10 or 20 dollars into his pocket when his parents were busy elsewhere in the shop, apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Friendly staff and great customer service. The hotel and cold food looks / seems freshly made daily. From the roasts to the Asian cooked meals. The shop is clean and plenty of space to dine in. Do try it. Prices are good...
